Casa is a slice of Paradise
We spent a week at Casa with the family, this was our 4th trip back and we are already looking to plan the next visit. The home is so very well set up for family's, room for everyone to spread out. The pool is glorious, we spent most all of our days there. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The kids had an awesome time on the kayaks and hanging out on the beach area. They also spent quite a bit of time playing pool. We were able to bring our dog which may be the biggest perk as a dog mom, we hate traveling without him. Capt Julie is very responsive with any questions and checks in to be sure all is well during your stay. Looking forward to returning soon!

Beautiful property
We had such a wonderful time during our vacation at Casa! We traveled with our family: my husband, myself and 6 boys (ages 16-25) and our dogs (the property is fully fenced other than the water front). The boys loved the grounds: swimming, boating, kayaking and fishing. They loved the pool table in the garage (where many pool tournaments occurred), a nice mid day break during those Florida quick rain showers. We only had to leave to pick up more food to feed them! The pool and gazebo area was amazing! We rented a boat for three days (from Julie’s recommendation) and had a great experience. Captain Julie spent a hour on the phone with me giving us guidance on the islands to visit each day. Note you will need to anchor the boat near the property. Don’t be like us Ohioans and not watch the tidy closely enough 😬. Such wonderful memories during our week at Casa. Thank you captain Julie for sharing your beautiful home with us and for your amazing communication with us during the week.

Family fun time.
Beautiful property with direct access to the Manatee River, There are so many great activities to enjoy by all ages. We kayaked and paddle boarded daily, swam in the fabulous pool, played corn hole, played billiards, rode the bikes by the river. Plenty of room inside for our family of 7 with our doggies, who enjoyed the property as much as we did. This is our second visit and we will be renting here again.

Great for large group!
My family absolutely loved the pool and river areas! Beautiful property. We had rushed the process a bit to do an earlier check in, which Julie accommodated for us. There was some cleanliness things that could have been taken care of, I felt. The throw pillows had quite a bit of staining, under couches hadn’t been vacuumed or swept in a while. Overall, great place though and fantastic for family fun!!!

FAMILY SUMMER VACATION
Captain Julie was wonderful with communication through the whole visit! The property is BEAUTIFUL with so much to see and do! We had a rainy day but with all the games, pool and ping pong, it was wonderful! The pool and outside areas as amazing and we had a Mother Woodpecker and 3 babies to watch the whole time. Our daughters went kayaking and we rang the bell at sunsets!! Loved EVERYTHING!! Thank you Captain Julie for sharing your PARADISE with our family!!

Girls trip
Location, location, location. You wouldn't have to leave the property if you didnt want to. We visited Anna Marie Island and Siesta Key during our stay. I could live there just for the pool alone. Great place to stay! Host was very informative and had great communication

can't beat the great bay view
Amazing views from just about every window. I loved sitting by the little beach and watching the animals and sail boats.The horseshoe crabs were really interesting. Loved the pool too. Huge kitchen. The house is pretty spread out so my hubby and I pretty much just stayed at one end. The closest beaches are the typical emerald water white sand that I love. went down to Venice beach where you find the fossilized shark teeth. V.B. surf is a little rough so be careful. We love Tampa Zoo which is just under an hr away. It got a little rainy so we went to the FL Aquarium in Tampa that's fully covered. If you have kids, it has areas where they can have hands on activities to touch sea creatures and other things they can pull/climb. There's also a little water splash pad for them too. Loved the food at Tide Tables (grilled scallops my fav). we had a nice welcome basket at the house to greet us. I liked how secluded it is. Make sure to read the welcome book and plan ahead for the day you're leaving for a list of things that need to be done. It was a little more than what the other VRBO's I've stayed at before but I tend to clean up behind myself anyways. It would make a great place to have a wedding or party. Look for the hidden dollar. I actually found it one day when I wasn't looking for it as something just caught my eye. Then we got into the aquarium that same day for free so it must have brought me good luck! Another amazing getaway!
Between our first trip here in 2021 and our trip this round in May 2024, I am so happy to say the house, property, check-in, and communication were just as amazing as it was 3 years ago! Julie does a fantastic job making sure her home is cozy and does not go without in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, beach towels, pool table/pingpong, fishing gear, pool toys and floats. She’s very quick to respond to any questions and has a giant book in the kitchen that answers basically any question you have from Vet location and phone numbers to favorite restaurants to trash pick up days. She also had kept up the tradition of leaving a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine for guests! Truly so grateful for the memories this house has made us. My daughter learned how to swim in Julie’s pool this year!! Within the first 4 hours of getting in the water she went from petrified to get her ears and face wet and not knowing how to swim to swimming underwater. The magic of Casa Encantada continues once more. Thank you thank you thank you! Can’t wait to be back!

The house is perfect for teenagers/kids, it has bikes, kayaks, pool table, games, and a beautiful pool! We loved watching the sunset every night right in the backyard! This is a perfect house to rent!

Terrific 25th Anniversary Trip
As stated in its description, it was a little piece of paradise. The house and outdoor areas were amazing. The kitchen is stocked with everything one could imagine. The pool and tiki bar are gorgeous and a great place to relax. Love the personal touches in the house. I would recommend this place to anyone. Lifelong memories made!

THE HIDDEN GEMS OF ARTS NEST
AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, AWESOME SAUCE! Fun for the whole family. No stone left unturned. My 3-year-old grandson calls it The Yellow House! He did not want to leave.The owners (Luv Them) had games toys books, beds, etc. to accommodate someone his age. These folks thought of everything and everybody! Every day we would find a hidden gem or a unique piece of art. We filled the beautiful, huge, kitchen with lots of food and love. We enjoyed all of the kitchens supplies and accommodations. Having the family all together and making memories is how life is to be, however, I also enjoyed the privacy and space that the lay out of the home gave us all when needed. The home is perfectly designed. On to the gorgeous outside grounds, beach, pool, tiki bar, pet garden, patios, pathways, hammock, kayaks, and grilling under the palms. WOW WOW WOW ALL STRUCK BEAUTY! We all enjoyed the tropical saltwater piece of paradise pool, as well as a quiet morning of feeling a warm Suttle breeze as we were watching the cranes strut and catch fish right near our private beach area or should I say their private beach resort area! The evenings were just as amazing as you smelled the charcoaled steaks grilling as one stands beneath the tall lushes' palm trees as the sun sets and the birds gather and fly in flocks singing and speaking to one's soul. Morning, noon and night was filled with peace, love, fun and happiness. From the morning breath taking swims to the evening cannon ball pool fun. WE will be back!

Perfect place for the whole family
This is our second visit to the property, it just gets better every time we visit. The property has something for everyone, we literally had to make ourselves leave on our last day to explore Anna Maria a bit, otherwise we were totally content spending the day in the pool, lounging in the hammock or playing pool. The sunsets from the property are beautiful, there is so much space to either spread out or gather as a family… it’s truly a unique space. We saw improvements from our last visit with new furniture and appliances, the place is well taken care of and the owners are very easy to work with. We are excited to return!!

A beautiful and unique property!
The property was beautiful and well cared for! There was so much to do without ever having to leave the house. The house comes stocked with virtually everything you could possibly need! No need to over-pack like we did! I really appreciate the ability to bring our dogs and the thoughtfulness of including info on local vets in the info binder. We are definetly missing waking up to the gorgeous views and spending our days poolside. The landscaping and breeze off the river make the yard very comfortable even in mid July. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Fun for the whole family
House and property were perfect for our 4 teenagers and 2 dogs. Well stocked kitchen; prepared many meals during our stay. Pool was enjoyed by all. Restaurants and grocery store near by. Pamela and Captain Julie were helpful and responsive. We will definitely return! Thanks for a memorable trip!

A little slice of paradise
My family and dogs had a wonderful time at La Casa Encantada. The yard was like a resort - tropical landscaped pool, tiki hutch, and corn hole for all to enjoy. We used the kayaks daily, played ping pong and billiards daily. There are delightful places to lounge like the high captains chair overseeing the River - very unique and relaxing. The hammock was used daily by my granddaughter. She lazed for hours, with her phone of course. The wood deck was great in the mornings for coffee and the afternoons for sunsets. Inside the house was very comfortable for the 7 of us. There were so many unique and interesting decorations, books to read and games to play. Loved our trip. We’ll be back.
