Lovely, spacious house
We stayed here for five nights in early February. Beautiful view of bay with lots of birds in the trees. The furnishings are mostly very tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped except the pots and pans are in very bad condition. Everything is nonstick and scratched even pealing. The living room furniture smells of wet dog when it’s rainy. All of the main surfaces were clean but there is a coating of dust on the big plastic plants and dust is hanging off the bedside lampshade.These were all minor inconveniences but wanted others to be aware

Wonderful Thanksgiving!
Property is amazing! Host Deb is fantastic and you can tell she really cares about her guests. We booked this place to spend Thanksgiving w our daughter who goes to FSU. Can not say enough about how beautiful the place and view. We also rented a boat so having the private dock was fantastic. Kitchen is very well stocked, had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving feast. We did bring big disposable aluminum trays for the turkey and pie plates. Everything else is there, even carving knives. Elevator is a definite plus for a home that is 3 stories tall. 100% recommend this place. Only negative is curtains on the bedroom windows. I would prefer having sliding curtains for a little bit of privacy since they are shared balconies, or if u wanna sleep in a little. But we would still stay here again.

This is a beautiful quiet neighborhood right on the bay ! It was wonderful having a private dock all to ourselves. All of our encounters were positive and friendly. Perfect Vacation
Perfect vacation! Caught red fish from the dock, kayaking, crabbing, watching dolphins! It was perfect! This was our 2nd stay here, looking forward to our 3rd stay❤️. The elevator was so helpful! Drinking coffee on the screened porch was wonderful! Can’t say enough about this special place❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway With Friends
This home has a great layout and view. Two couples enjoyed our time in Panacea and at this property. We would not hesitate to stay again. We do have 2 suggestions. Repair the locks on the sliding doors and add window coverings to sliding doors in bedrooms since decks are accessible from the yard below.

Christmas with a view
Property was exactly what we were looking for. Host is easy to deal with. House is stocked well with all things needed to cook. Beautiful and quiet area and yet close to parks and day trips to places like St. George , Apalachicola and nice drives on big bend. Highly recommend!

Perfect fishing spot!
This house was great and it’s private dock made the whole trip! Very comfortable accommodations but would have preferred blinds on windows. Things were a little dusty but not bad and overall it was a great stay. Would definitely stay again!

Bayside Retreat
The house and dock were awesome! Loved seeing manatees and dolphin. The nicest beach was 20 minutes away, and the few restaurants in the area are only open Thurs-Sun. Grocery store is 25 minutes away. The deck was fabulous but the master bed was terribly saggy in the middle, and the sheets and pillow cases were stained and worn out. When we stripped the beds, we discovered some of the pillows were very stained and dirty, and the second mattress pad on the master bed had what looked like a huge urine stain on it. The gate was broken, and someone who was very high on drugs was on the property and asked us to give them a ride home. We called the police, who eventually came and took the person. It was rather scary. Suggest getting that fence fixed asap.

Our stay started off with a few hiccups but Deb was quick to help and was always quick to answer when we had any questions. There is a huge variety of fish in the bay and no two days were the same! Highly recommend for a relaxing get away.

Great View and Peaceful
We choose this rental specifically to have a lovely place to rest and relax after a two week tour of several more touristy locations. The house was very lovely and well furnished. The view was outstanding and my entire family enjoyed sitting on the dock or the decks and simply reading and talking with each other. They are lots of hiking trails and parks nearby and multiple marinas for boating and/or fishing charters if you desire. The owner is easy to get along with and several people are in the local area if any problems should arise. Finally, the elevator was extremely convenient especially for my wife and I who are in their seventies. Excellent get away for family or friends.

Perfect home for family vacation
This house is gorgeous and is absolutely perfect for a family getaway. Very clean and nice and had all amenities need for a comfortable stay. Boat dock is perfect for fishing. We had zero complaints or problems- loved sitting on the screened in porch watching sunrise. We will definitely come back to this place!
