Relaxing and quiet
It was the best beach vacation. House was cozy and quiet. The beach was almost empty. We would walk the sandbars far out at low tide. Never left the house just stocked the fridge and made all our meals at the house. House was clean and communication with Wendy was great. Our dogs enjoyed the front yard and their dog bed that was there.

Amazing host, beautiful home, steps to the beach
Wendy’s home was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in, so much so, that we requested to stay an extra night. The property was immaculate, well stocked and has been really well cared for. It is located on the quieter end of Alligator Point, which we really enjoyed, with a short walk to the beach. Wendy was a great host and we would love to stay at her home again soon!

Hidden Gem
This is our second stay at Miller High Life cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Wendy does a phenomenal job preparing the house for guests as well as offering a bottle Of wine and food starters. The location on the beach hosts the perfect backdrop for photos and is close to the sandbar my children and I enjoy exploring. When we weren’t on the beach we were sitting on the back deck or screen porch. There is also a sitting area under the house with hammock, picnic table and rope lighting. If you travel with a pet this property has a secure fenced in area and gate on the porch. This is one of my FAVORITE places to visit to unwind and recharge… a true hidden gem.

Long Weekend
I almost gave less stars for the accuracy of the listing because the pictures don’t do this place justice! It is adorable and though on the smaller side, still very spacious. The screened in porch overlooking the ocean was our favorite place to spend time when we weren’t on the beach! Yes the water is dark so if you are looking to snorkel, you likely won’t be happy but the beach is clean, has nice white sand & plenty of sea treasures to be found. 10/10 for a laid back, quiet getaway! We enjoyed every second of our trip

Love this cottage!
This is our 2nd time at Wendy's cottage & it did not disappoint! It's clean & she has great little perks like eggs, bagels, coffee, & even a bottle of wine. It's an easy walk down the path to the beach & short drive to Panacea to eat at Angelos. We look forward to returning to the sweet little cottage!

House was great, lots of State and National Parks in the area. Not much of a night life in area, have to travel 30 plus minutes to go food shopping. Over an hour to Tallahassee for activities. Other wise a great place.

Perfect Beach Getaway
This host has shared a family beach home with the guests. There are wonderful near views of the water where we watched pelicans and dolphins play. This is located in a quiet area of the Florida panhandle without crowds. It’s possible to see both sunrise and sunset from the screen porch. Very comfortable and spotless interior space.

If you are looking for the perfect tranquil, clean, and exceptional location to stay at the beach for a perfect getaway, this is it. This was our third time staying at this location and will be back for a fourth if any way possible.

A taste of Heaven & Hurricane!!
There's not enough stars to give this Beautiful Beach Cottage! We were there 3 days & had to evacuate for the Cat 3 Hurricane. We left & came back in a couple days to finish our 2 week trip( with a couple extra days on Wendy)!! Wendy was the absolute best host we've ever dealt with in a rental. Everything was so Beautiful & Cozy. If possible, I'd give Wendy & the Beach Cottage 10 stars!! If you're looking then start booking! Will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back !!

Week long vacation
This was our 2nd stay at Miller High Life and it was wonderful as expected. The house is clean, homey and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is great and communication with the owners is flawless. We couldn’t recommend the property or thank the owners enough. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Paradise on the beach
Miller High Life is an amazing place to escape everything and reset on the beach. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very clean and comfortable. The views of the Gulf are incredible and birds and sea life never stop. The fenced yard makes bringing your dog so easy and stress free. Highly recommend this cottage on Alligator Point beach!!! R&J

A beautiful home away from home
Our family had an amazing time! The home was perfect for us— plenty of room, welcoming atmosphere, and so comfortable for us to share with our 15 month old boxer pup. Our family explored the gorgeous beach and state park every morning and every evening. We took a fishing trip with a local guide one day and brought home plenty of freshly caught fish to eat for dinner. We grilled every night, played games, and laughed as our pup, Maple, chased crabs and birds on the dog friendly beach. The Miller cottage and all of its little touches made us feel like we were at a home away from home. She even had quilts for Maple so we felt more comfortable allowing her to get as cozy in the house as us.
