LACK OF COMMUNICATION from the OWNER
THIS REVIEW IS LONG….First let me say that giving this review ONE star was being generous. Things did not go right from the very beginning. LACK OF COMMUNICATION is the reason.
One day prior to my checkin, I had to contact the owner (Gerald) to have the check-in instructions for the property sent to me.
The icing on top of the cake was not having AC in the secondary bedroom for 26 days, almost half of our stay. I contacted Gerald and the property manger when I found out the AC was not working. I moved into the secondary bedroom because the noise from the outside/street was to great for me to be able to sleep. The secondary bedroom had no windows therefore the sounds outside were not audible in the bedroom. I informed the property manager and Gerald that the AC was blowing cool air. First they tried to fix it, that didn’t work. I had to contact VRBO to inform them of the situation because I was not getting a proper remedy from the owner. He stopped communicating with me until I contacted VRBO for the third time. Gerald told me there was adequate airflow in the unit with the AC in the LR and the primary bedroom, which meant I needed to keep the door open so the air would flow through. This was not the appropriate remedy. Finally on day 26, the building maintenance replaced the AC unit.
No cleaning services were provided even though we stayed for 53 days. I found a housekeeper from people in the building. OWNER was irresponsible, Unit was ok.
