"Check-in is at the splendid hotel up the street. Once you check in, they drive you to Hotel La Palme in a golf cart. That was quite fun! Once we arrived, we realized that our room was facing the ferry dropped off. Eventually, we asked to move rooms and the front desk was exceptional at quickly transitioning us to the splendid hotel as there was a room available. "We just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Meandro and had a really lovely time. Beautiful view of the lake from our terrace, super clean room and very comfy king bed. Pool and sauna was very nice, breakfast had everything you could ask for including vitamins! "This was a grand Villa, whch turned into a hotel in 1960. Everything is updated and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff is wonderful. We loved our room. All was wonderful and I highly recommend. Just know that there is a 7 minute walk to the beginning of Salo's passeggiata."

"Lovely stay. Could look at the view from my apartment all day. Staff were lovely, breakfast delicious and the plentiful supply of veg from the garden made a amazing salads. The kids loved the pool overlooking the lake. Very relaxing with a good book. You do need a car and there isnt anything within walking distance. But Salo town is 5 minutes away, with delicious gelato, bars and restaurants. "

"Amazing stay at Hotel Villa Dirce. Fantastic place, fabulous views over the lake and great staff. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived right to the end. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a nice place to spend a week with the family. Easy walk into Limone and boats to other areas on the Lake. Would 100% recommend!"

"The view is stunning. We ate in the hotel because it was the best food we’ve had in a hotel in Italy. The starter buffet was 10/10. The staff are honestly the best ever in a hotel I’ve been to. Locate is perfect. 10 minute walk down the beach from Limone. "
