"This is not just a comfortable house located in a quiet neighorhood, but it is also a beautiful house. Everything is first rate. It is the sort of house that feels like it is someone's home, with everything just as you would want it. The beds are comfortable, the linens plush. The house is small, but fine for us. Kitchen is a little small, but perfectly adequate. Eveeything is as described, in fact even exceeding my expectations. Really, this is a lovely piece of property. perfect for a couple....

"The house was beautiful and charming! Bonfire at that setting and that view was incredible. Kids loved running around the property and playing. Great place and would definitely stay again !"

"After some initial bumps trying to get check in information we had a very nice stay. The house is lovely and comfortable. It's close to a main road but we were not bothered by the traffic noise at all. We were a bit intimated by the old fashion stove but managed to figure it out. You don't have to leave the property to take a hike. The property offers a nice variety of habitats.It is close to several parks, beautiful beaches, and great shopping. "

"House was beautiful. The highlight obviously being the private lakefront location. We loved playing in the lake each day. Rarely saw anyone except an occasional kayaker. House was comfy and functional. Only downsides for us were lack of blinds or curtains. If you're hoping to sleep in or that your kids will, this will be an issue. Views were beautiful though. We could have used more towels too. I've never had a restricted number in any other vrbo and it was a struggle as the girls needed...

"The house was clean and had plenty of kitchen amenities. I was expecting more in the bathroom/shower (shampoo, etc.) but it wasn’t a big deal since we had brought our own. I must not have read the description very closely since I wasn’t aware that the house did not have air conditioning or a TV in the main living area (although I believe the A/C was mentioned in the listing). "The pictures were very accurate and we had a great stay! We appreciated the fresh flowers and the cottage was well stocked and very clean. We didn't use it but it even had a wine fridge! We enjoyed visiting the towns of Northport, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor & Leland. There is so much to do in the area, Christmas Cove Beach, the lighthouse, wineries, Hop Lot Brewery & a new upscale putt putt golf course with a bar in Glen Arbor."

"We have been traveling to Northern Michigan every summer for almost ten years now and compared with the two other houses we've rented in that time this was hands down the most comfortable, well maintained home we've had the pleasure of staying at. Quiet and welcoming with wonderful views of the water and access to a great Michigan beach. Close to Northport (and other communities) but with a relaxing sense of seclusion."

"We had a great time at the property. It was spacious and the views of the lake were amazing. Downside is getting down to the water -the steps were steep which was not easy for smaller children or the elderly. Also the master bedroom gets very hot on warm days and the AC doesn't quite work in that room (the rest of the house was able to get cool). Definitely in need of some upgrades including some easy fixes like new mattresses, bedding. But overall we enjoyed our experience. "

"This was a very comfortable house, stocked with lots of linens and necessities (soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products). We enjoyed the beach, even in the rain! The beach is layered with interesting fossils and shells, and the water was clear! The owner and manager were very quick to respond when my family locked the house doors with the house key inside. The owners had 2 backup plans in place to solve our issue. I'm very happy with our stay!"
