"We have stayed at the Crow Wood a couple of times and both times we have had a fabulous time. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are no drawers for storage but you can make use of the bedside units. The food was amazing. We had a New Years Eve party there and the food was hot. 5 courses and was spectacular. The breakfast is buffet style and was hot and fresh and plentiful. An amazing night all round."

" The hotel needs a complete refurb. The room allocated to us was of poor quality and standard. There was no wardrobe hanging space for ladies dresses and no drawers for storing other clothes. The plug was missing from the bath and the taps were dripping in the bathroom sink. The positive was that the staff were attentive and helpful and the food (breakfast) was excellent. We would not stay here again."

"Location is in a middle of a council estate.. when I arrived there was a torn piece of paper stuck to the door saying ring Ahmed for check in. "Stay was adequate but there were 3 issues Firstly the television sound kept going down by itself which was quite annoying while trying to watch the tv. Secondly I had to call the out of hours re leaving at 6.30 and was told to just leave the key in the room. There should be a drop box or somewhere residents can put their keys to leave before the receiption is in place And finally the American door locks need upgrading to a key card system as it was difficult opening and locking the room "

"Stayed overnight on NYD. Ellie on check in was nice and friendly parking permit was given and check Inn was allowed at 130pm which was great as it was raining all day. Room was ok basic but clean nice comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant and it was ok nothing special. Breakfast was lovely friendly staff choice was plentiful just no poached eggs or fried due to kitchen issues."
