"Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. "There are no words to express the magic of the Villa Segale. We felt it as soon as we arrived and looked up over the vineyards to see our villa. My sister & I booked this trip for our families - 11 adults in total over a year ago.We did less sight seeing in Tuscany than planned as no one wanted to leave the villa. "Truly had such a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. We are a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 5) and this worked perfectly for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and Carmine the host was very attentive and helpful at all times. The villa is in great proximity to the main walled city of Lucca and there is plenty of space to park if you have hired cars (we had 2 cars).
