"I was in town to visit my mom at the hospital. It was a great location, both close to the hospital and with lots of amenities nearby. The property itself was spotlessly clean and also very quiet, which I appreciated. The kitchen had all of the equipment that I needed. The mattress was a little hard but comfortable enough. "This was our end trip to this property-we were here in the fall and had a totally different, but equally wonderful trip! This time the kids played in the water-snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, wading and swimming. In the evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and pool table. The stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. Lake access is accurate - this lake and most residents have many stairs and this one was no exception but owner described this so no surprises there. "We loved our long weekend here! The owners were very friendly and responsive. The property has everything you need and more. The biggest plus is its coziness. Between the open room and the great porch with pretty views of the lake, I finished a whole book. Kind of don't want to leave too good of a review because I want to keep it a secret! We WILL be back! (Note: as others have said, the cabin is not good for people who cannot do stairs)"

"This is a quaint cabin on a peaceful country road with a bubbling creek running behind it. Perfectly clean, well equipped. The host, Amy was super nice and accommodating (she saved our biscuits when we misplaced our key and need an assist). If you are into history, The cabin is made of hand hewn timbers from the mid-1800’s and was moved and rebuilt onsite. Oh, the stories that place could tell…!! "

The place was clean, and as described, although we do wish we had known that the single bathroom was on the second floor (our bad), with a steep staircase.
