Nice Lake House
House was nice but no mention of tons of stairs to actually gain access to property was deceptive from property details. We should have asked owner PRIOR to making the rez, as we clear on having an elderly dog, who struggled to get up/down all the stairs. Lugging all our stuff in/out was a hardship as well. Mid way thru our stay we had a random person put a key in door and barge into the home with an attitude, saying they were an "associate" of the owner, and we were supposed to be checked out already. We were fully paid in the rental thru the following day, and this person just hung around for awhile, righteous about what she knew to be right. VERY STRANGE. Rental was nice, but wouldnt rent from this person again.

Bob was an outstanding host...answered all of our questions and was very responsive. The property description is very accurate. It had everything we needed for all 7 of us to cook, relax, and play plus visits from various family members in the area over the week.

Comfortable and spacious
It was very comfortable and spacious for the 6 of us both inside and outside, several places with comfortable seating. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of linens/ towels. There were plenty of water toys, a ping pong table and more to keep the kids busy. Bob is a very pleasant host who responds immediately to any questions. The neighbor was very friendly too.

Gorgeous property with access to all Lake Hopatcong has to offer
We can't wait to come back. The house truly feels like a home and is so comfortable. We had some tropical/sudden/intense storms when we were here so we went out at every opportunity to soak up the sun, floating in the lake or reading on the deck. We even grilled a bit in the rain and enjoyed the hot tub while a storm rolled in. We also took the Miss Lotta dinner cruise which is nearby. Next time we'll have to hit the mini golf, hiking trails, and rent the boat. There's also a great selection of restaurants and a 24/7 ShopRite we used a lot. Some things to note--not negatives but FYIs: This property is on a cliffside and to get up and down you'll need to climb a lot of stairs. Bob is super responsive and has a list of reasonable requests for the safety of people and property that you'll have to keep in mind. Also, while the kitchen was amazing the pots and pans are very well-loved so next time I'll bring my own cookware. Thank you so much Bob for the incredible stay.

Lovely Lake House
Our host Bob met us at check in and gave us a tour of the house and the facilities, which were both impressive. He also offered suggestions for restaurants and nearby hiking trails. We found the house to be comfortable and well equipped, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leisure Lake Lodge.

Good experience overall, if you have a picky wife for cleanliness, this is not a place for you. The basement had that mold smell. We had not use for the badement though. It is a great place/value for the money, especially if you dont need all the bedrooms. Plenty of room and rooms

A Wonderful Weekend
An overall wonderful stay. The house was clean, spacious and as pictured. Bob is a very thorough and responsive host. There were unexpected flights of stairs from the street level to the house but once you're there, Bob has provided a full range of activities and experiences, both indoors and outdoors, and there are many things to do within walking/boating distance.

Luxury lake house
This home has plenty of room for an extended family to spread out and find privacy, a fully stocked kitchen and ample dock space for our two boats. It's also on a quite spot in Henderson cove away from the busiest spots on the lake. Great play room for the younger kids stocked with games as well. The host was informative and respected our privacy. Great vacation spot!

Perfect home base for a visit to North Jersey.
My wife and I were visiting friends and family in North Jersey for three days. This was the perfect home base. While we didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities, the bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and it was big enough for my wife and I to spread out and work during the day. Would love to come back in the summer.

Perfect place for our family holiday vacation
Loved everything about this property and we'll definitely be booking this rental again on our next visit back home. We moved out of the area years ago but come back to visit family often and booked this lake house for our holiday trip as it's close to both my mother and my sisters homes by the lake. We arrived late in the evening and Bob had the home well lit and toasty warm for us (this was during the extreme cold snap in December). Communication with the host was clear and everything we needed was easily accessible. Check in and check out was a breeze. The house was well appointed with conveniences throughout, large and inviting, with plenty of amenities for the adults, toys for my son to enjoy, etc. There were even some holiday decorations as we stayed the week before Christmas which was a nice touch for my 6yr old. Overall the rental was exactly as pictured and what we were looking for. Thanks for having us, Bob. We'll be back next year!

WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Stay
Just enjoyed a GREAT stay at the Leisure Lake Lodge. The house was huge with plenty of space for our family. We weren't lacking for anything - comfy beds, soft sheets, nice towels, hot tub, pool table, comfy couch, and a huge game room for the kids. Even in the late-Fall, this lodge was a great, relaxing get away. (Admittedly nicer than our home in Arizona!) Bob was very attentive and communicative and we appreciated his pride in the property. He was very accommodating with our busy travel schedule. Highest recommendation - we cannot wait to return!

Beautiful house on the lake
We enjoyed our stay and had perfect September weather. The house was well-kept, roomy and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck right outside of the open concept living area, with a beautiful view of the lake. There is another deck above the boat garage with comfortable outdoor lounge furniture and an indoor room with ping pong, and we felt like we were right on the water. The house is a few doors down from Lola's restaurant and you may occasionally be serenaded by some mariachi music as you're enjoying the deck, but it never went past 9 pm and it was just on the weekend. Bob was great and very helpful in explaining the property.

Fun four days on the Lake
Bob's home had all the amenities for our family of 7. Each of the 4 bedrooms were clean, comfortable and roomy....especially the master bedroom with the jacuzzi tub and the kids room with PLENTY of toys and games to keep them amused on a rainy day. We loved having the use of the 2 kayaks. We also rented the boat for one day but unfortunately it was the day after remnants of Hurricane Ida so we could only putt around the lake slowly.
