"The day before we were to arrive I received a message from the owner stating the house we rented was unavailable due to work on the pool. So I can not review this rental. However Carolina, the property manager found us another house, it did not have a pool but was very nice."

"We had a great stay at this well set up condo with outdoor patio. Comfortable bed and sitting area and basic kitchen supplies but adequate. The property manager was available when needed and gave us space when not which was nice! Short walk to the beach for a dip. The owner was lovely and communicative when needed. "Mike and Elizabeth's home exceeded all of our expectation. The house itself was well appointed and comfortable. The AC was cold the view of the coastline breathtaking and who doesn't like to have monkeys in your back yard. The house sits on a quiet mountaintop which is easily accessible. "My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. The Kig Luis waterfall is well worth the hike. Isaac and his wife were awesome and very responsive. Love this place and Costa Rica!"

"Casa Mango is both a lovely property and a beautiful house. The house is extremely well equipped and has a very nicely appointed kitchen w 6 burner gas range, quality pots and pans and service for 8 with a gorgeous dining room table. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the mattresses were comfortable. The pool is spotless but could use a few more chairs and maybe a shade umbrella. "This open air home was immaculate! It was perfectly equipped with incredible cookware, fabulous bathrooms and the roar of the sea. We were prepped to keep all food in a convenient lockable pantry so the monkeys would not steal anything. The monkeys tried but we were prepared. "Very cute house, centrally located within walking distance of the beach, stores and tours. Very clean, good a/c (only in bedrooms), well equipped kitchen, good internet. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it's pretty deep and the kids still enjoyed it a lot. The masks and snorkels were a nice bonus. It's a little hard to find but that's down to Waze being inaccurate in the area. All in all we had a great stay and definitely recommend!"
