This cabin had a lot more to offer. Beds were comfy, check in and check out process a breeze, and very spacious for our needs. While we stayed here in the summer, it would also be great to stay here during the winter!

The house is great and has so much to do close to the property. We enjoyed it very much. Greg had the house nice and cool for us upon arrival in this hot AZ heat.

Overall the cabin was good. It had everything we needed to cook with. We had an issue with the Traeger but we got it working to enjoy pulled pork on Father’s Day. Hiking trails are very close and the turkeys and rooster across the street will let you know when it’s time to get up in the morning.

We had a great time in this spacious cabin, we saw elk around the property, hiked nearby trails along the river, grilled, played games and really enjoyed staying at this cabin, will definitely plan another trip here during the summer.

The cabin was clean and had almost everything we needed - I would only recommend bringing chip-clips (if you are a chip eating family). The kids loved the property! And I loved being able to watch them play in the snow while staying warm inside. While we didn't see any wildlife on the property we did see elk and cattle while driving around. We also caught crawfish at Tonto Natural Bridge (we put them back after a few pictures). I loved the turkeys that were next door, if they heard the kids playing they would "gobble" at them. Very clean and spacious. The pellet stove was easy to use and warmed the place up particularly if you put the ceiling fans on low. Would stay here again.

Wanted a quick, weekend getaway to enjoy the newly fallen snow and this beautiful property didn't disappoint. So much to do from exploring the property, swing from the tree, adventure over to the tree house or just relax indoors and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. Short, beautiful drive from Payson if you need to pop into town for anything. The perfect weekend getaway.

My family and I brought in 2025 in the cabin there were 9 of us plenty of room for everyone. It was pretty cold because if we turned on the heater at the top all the heat would go up to the kids and sweat them out the space heaters work best close to you during this time of year on the bottom floor. Overall it was nice the kids enjoyed themselves they got to see the local wildlife.

This place is great for adults and kids/teenagers. The upstairs has two sets of bunkbeds and a full bathroom, plus a table where everyone can set down their belongings. The downstairs has two nice size bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The entire property is spacious, interesting and fun to explore. We stayed toasty with the pellet burning stove and heating system in the living room. Had a great time and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

The cabin is gorgeous, how ever i found myself. Dusting , the beams and fans caked with dust. I cleaned cobwebs with the broom.

We celebrated my 6 year olds birthday and it was a great time! She loved the tree house and the neighbor across put apples out for the Elk and cows to come through. The whole family enjoyed sitting out on the deck just star watching and enjoying family time! Highly recommend!

We have been staying here for 3 years and bring our grandkids. They love it! The property alone has so much for them to do in addition to us catching crawdads at the creek and kayaking and fishing at the lake. In the past the neighbors have been friendly to us and we have introduced ourselves and had nice converations with them. We are quiet, friendly and good guests that respect the neighbors. This time was different. We could feel the tension and the unfriendlness of the neighbors and it made us very uncomfortable and we felt very unwelcomed.
