Perfect Labor Day weekend
Wanted a quiet getaway on a lake. This property delivered. Very beautiful location. House was very nice. Lake was gorgeous and fishing was so good. We had our dog with us and she didnt want to leave! Was the perfect place for our family and close to home. Highly recommend this property. Thank you to the owners for making it a great weekend

Little piece of Heaven
Absolutely loved this home. Had everything you needed for a great little get together with family or friends. We fished the entire trip. We caught Bluegill, bass, and crappie. We enjoyed the deer that grazed in the yard. Highly recommend!

Much needed get away
We had a fantastic time. We loved getting up and having coffee on the front porch swing, and or dock. Kids had a great time fishing and swimming. The place was very clean and well equiped. Its out of the way which is perfect for us. Very pet friendly as well. Would love to stay again.

Great Stay at Hollerback
We spent Labor Day weekend at the Hollerback Hunt and Yacht Club - we had a great trip. Our three school aged kids and dog enjoyed playing in the water, riding in the boat, playing in the yard. When we weren't at the house, we were hiking on great trails and taking in amazing views. House is setup well - kids all slept easily upstairs, while we stayed downstairs. Location is wonderfully private and quiet - deer in the yard every morning. Great getaway for the long weekend!

Loved this little lakeside canin
Our families enjoyed the cabin and the lake. Fishing and kayaking were amazing. The wildlife was spectacular as were the stars. Very quiet place. Our only complaint was that the downstairs bedroom was hot, but it seemed to get better the longer we were there.

Great hideaway near lots of beautiful trails
We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and tranquil property. Located on a very private lake and road, we felt like we were truly away from it all but still had the creature comforts. So many wonderful and beautiful hiking trails nearby combined with the clean and perfect temperature lake made this a paradise away from home.

We had an absolute blast staying at this Cabin! Only regret is that we did not stay long enough and will be sure to book more time here in the future. Everything was clean and stocked, just need to bring food and drinks and you are set! We made the best memories and can’t wait to go back.

Live Love Lake
Wonderful retreat weekend in a calming atmosphere where a bunch of old friends could just relax and put busy lives on hold, if only for a few days. Multiple interesting areas to congregate indoors and out. Wildlife plentiful (deer, hummingbirds, owls at night). We .laughed, cooked for each other, talked around a fire in the firepit, and had an all round good time. Thanks for this weekend.

A little disapointed
We had a nice time at the cabin it is clean and comfortable inside. As for the outside the pictures on VRBO really need to be updated. The pictures make it seem like the cabin is secluded and private, but it really isn’t. If you are standing on the dock looking straight out you will be looking at the house and dock of the house about 50 yards across the lake. If you look to your right the road is 50 yards away and in plain view. The house sits right off that same road and the road can be seen and heard from the small front porch of the house. For a dead end street there sure are a lot of cars and trucks going back and forth. If you are looking forward to sitting in one of the many Adirondack chairs pictured, you will need to bring your own because there is only one Adirondack chair on the property and that one is cracked and has seen better days. There are other straight back chairs around the fire pit but they are not very comfortable for siting in for hours at a time. Also, if you are not planning on drinking the well water from the sink then you will need to bring water or your own Britta water filter pitcher because the one mentioned as an amenity in the cabin is no longer there. We were staying for a week and paper products were scarce. Exactly two rolls of TP per bathroom (this includes the one already started on the roll) a half a roll of paper towels and 1 plastic garbage bag (even though you are allowed 2 bags at no extra charge). So if you do not want to drive 20min to town to buy more you will need to bring your own. Overall quiet except for the road and the lake is very clean and peaceful. Great for swimming!

Relaxation at its finest
My husband, three kids and I stayed for 6 days at this relaxing lake side retreat. It was away from the hustle and bustle of life and we enjoyed it so. The lake is small and private. We only saw people once while we were there. It was awesome! The house wasn’t as clean as I would have liked and the furniture has seen better days but that did not in any way affect our vacation. The kids loved jumping off the dock and playing volleyball and badminton. They really enjoyed having the whole upstairs to themselves. It was like their little oasis away from us parents. Not that we minded. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and I would absolutely recommend a stay at this little piece of Heaven.

Absolutely Wonderful
Look, if you are looking for a private location with a lake this is your place! Julie, the property owner and host is simply reachable and amazing! This is not a 5 star resort though it is everything we wanted. My family and I had stayed at a property on the lake and thoroughly enjoyed it! We then found out that she had another property on the same lake and decided to reserve that for a few days. The decorations and pure ambiance of the property, at least to myself and my family was perfect. This sounds too good but if you like antiques (decorations and such) and an overall great vibe, this is the place! It is a smaller private lake with great fishing and I believe there were roughly 4 houses with rights to the water. I never leave reviews, though we really fell in love with this place! Do it

Great off the grid location
We loved our stay here! It has all the basic necessities you need. My dogs loved roaming around the large lot and I didn’t have to worry about them getting near the road or going off property. The lake was nice and we liked that it had a ladder to get into the water. My husband enjoyed fishing.
