"It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! "The location is great and we really enjoyed having our two small dogs with us. The place is tiny and it would be uncomfortable sharing the bathroom with anyone other than my spouse. The first floor bedroom has a very comfortable mattress. I slept well, despite being used to a King bed, this is a queen. The one negative was there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The owners were super nice and very easy to check in and out. "

"The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. "

"Our third yearly stay at the cabin. Recommend you try the Pond Mill Farms, Legs Inn, Good Heart General Store, and Trillium Woods Coffee shop. Cabin is always clean and comfortable, especially the evening fires in the stone wall fireplace. "
