"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

I pulled back the throws to check the bed to discover filthy , clearly unchanged bedsheets which were urine stained. "This hotel was a real find. A lovely stay and was a real lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day out. The rooms were very well appointed modern, clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If I had to be really picky I would have liked a wider range of food available for breakfast as in a selection of bread not just brown or white sliced, and freshly prepared fresh fruit. Alternatives for people who do not appreciate English Breakfast at that early time in the morning....
