"Stayed in a cozy cabin that was fresh and clean. The bathroom was surprisingly good for a cabin. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an excellent buffet breakfast. We ate at the lodge restaurant for dinner and were very impressed. Superb burgers and fish and chips. Highly recommend staying here."

"People running this Lodge are all very pleasant and helpful to deal with. One young staffer helped with our bags to the second floor when checking in and wouldn't accept a tip. Heated pool was great and clean. Place was quiet except for when people passed through the halls. Room was spacious and clean although a little dated. Overall value for what we paid was outstanding! Thank you all staff for an enjoyable 2 day stay. "

"Great location!! The view cannot be beat. Rocks were fine with water shoes (entertaining for fossils and creyfish) and navigating across them kept us "nimble" on our toes. Enjoyed kayaking up and down the shoreline. Such a great location to be a home base for sights: (Grotto, downtown, singing sands beach) and nice privacy of trees to relax and sit fireside. Rustic main living area - so-so on deep-clean / cleanliness. But nothing that a true-blooded cottager/ camper can't acclimate to and get...
