This is my first time using this service and will not do it again. There are several different entities to deal with if there's an issue (email from homeaway, booked with VRBO and dealt with Casa in Pensacola. The house is adorable and decorated so nicely. However, as soon as you walk into the door you are in the dining room and the smell of gas overtakes you. We went out for meets business partners. We returned in the evening to hear loud cranking sounds coming from the bathroom, which is connected to the bedroom. It sounds like there was a pump in the crawl space of the home making noise all night. We moved to the couch. Around midnight we heard snore sso loud we both looked at each other and said it couldn't be the neighbors we hear could it? We went back into the bedroom to hear such an incredibly loud snore coming from under the bedroom. So wild, right? I made 5 calls to VRBO and their subsidiary, Casa, took all of the info regarding my experience. We left early in the am for meetings, spent time calling VRBO to let them know we would have to check out and to kindly return money for the second night, since we could not stay in the property due to the issues. The last person I spoke with said a property manager (Ken did arrive at 3p as we were leaving) would come and if we could be out by 3p , she would arrange for a refund of 1 nights since we had an unfavorable experience. I did not receive an email confirming this. Had to get another hotel and call again to confirm I would receive a credit for one of the nights I paid for. It was so cute and would have stayed but how can VRBO/CASA expect a guest to deal with the gas smell, loud plumbing cranking and snores all night. I guess they would rather lose a customer than just refund one night due to the circumstances. Not good client relations at all. So, I basically paid $409 for one night? I could have been at a resort for that but stayed here because we loved the house and thought it would be a good experience.
