Perfectly Located with View of Gulf

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay. A short little walk to a beautiful beach, several restaurants near and coffee shops. Just 10 minutes to FloraBama and 20 minutes to all of the Orange Beach activity. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at the beach.

Great getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. The beach was a short walk, the hot tub and pool area were clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and relaxing.

Home away from home vacay

I'm a Pensacola native but transplanted to NC. My family (2 adults, 2 children, +1 adult sibling) had a great time staying here. It was nice and convenient to both beach and my grandmothers. Walk to the beach was easy minus private property beach lines. Take the short drive to Johnson beach for more room on the sand. The condo itself was clean except a few things found from probably previous visitors that was tucked under the bed and behind the nightstand. Also, washing machine might need a deep cleaning soon. Front loaders are notorious for mold build up. I would recommend bringing your own towels as there weren't any to use in the bathroom and no bathroom mats. Also, if you utilize the couch as sleeping arrangement, bring a blanket as well. My children slept in the bunks and enjoyed it, my adult sibling used a blanket off the bunk as my kids brought their own already from the trip. Would we stay here again, yes. It was nice and affordable.

Great location! 3 minute walk to the beach. Very clean! We were even supplied with dish machine and laundry soap for the first two nights and paper towels and toilet paper. Great view of the ocean despite not being on the beach. Perfect getaway for two! Would definitely do it again!

Great beach stay, only 1 parking pass

We had to contact the property manager right away upon arrival, the VRBO listing shows this property comes with 2 parking passes. IT DOES NOT! But the property manager remedied the issue right away and let us use 2 since that played a large part in our booking it. She says she’s contacted VRBO many times to fix the listing. Otherwise, super clean, felt like a new rental. Perfect walking access to the beach and the property’s private pool. Easy to get in and out despite security features.

Grand Caribbean W411

The unit was very nice and clean with the best views of the complex. I've stayed at Grand Caribbean 3 times and 3 different units. W411 is nicely furnished. Only issue was the door and Internet codes did not work. There were no dish towels or pot holders?

Room not as clean as expected

Overall it was a nice property but the room wasn’t as clean as expected. The pictures online looked much better (stained carpet, rusted door knob on balcony that was jammed) but for a small weekend trip it was okay.

Besides Check In it was Great

Overall we had a great time. The property looks like it does in the picture. However, the gate code was incorrect. We tried to resolve this by calling the number given but the company also didn’t know the correct code.... eventually someone else who stayed there just came up and gave us the correct gate code. This really delayed our check in, which is already late. We weren’t able to get in to our condo until around 5:15. But besides this issue caused by misinformation, it was a good experience.

Very disappointing.

Decided to rent a last minute weekend getaway with the kids. Most reviews were excellent, a few were not. I presumed the negatives were possibly people that always have something negative to say. The truth is that the positive ones are probably false reviews. There is no possible way someone had an excellent, clean experience a week before us. We arrived Friday night, sheets are ancient, comforter and pillow cases stained and worn out, pill balls and itchy. Lovely note on the counter informing us the house had been treated today for insects and rodents so we should be good. *tip to manager, after you treat for bugs at least go vacuum up the dead ones! I go to the closet and find trash! Food crumbs and a Ritz crackers package. If a housekeeper had used the vacuum she'd have seen the garage on the floor in the closet! Broom was in the closet with AC unit, filter is NASTY. Date last logged was 2013. Yes, 2013!! Whatever, it's just two nights. 40 hrs. I hate complaining because it's usually more of a hastle. Alone time with spouse is a no because not only do the bedroom locks not work, the doors don't even stay closed well! The master door that leads to Jack and Jill bath doesn't lock nor does the main master bedroom door. What am I going to do, ask the manager to have someone replace the door knobs during our one day there? Saturday we are out all day and came home to realize the dirty tub. I wash out the tub to bathe my toddler and the stupid tub DOESN'T drain! Right. Am I going to call a plumber at 9pm?! Get everyone semi washed and go to throw in a load of wash and there is MOLD all over the inside of the washer. Not just a little bit from humidity in FL around the rim. It was fuzzy nasty mold in a fairly new washer. It was gross! I took pictures. That washer stunk!!! That was the breaking point for me. I wasn't going to call the help line at midnight and we were checking out first thing in the morning. I had to hand wash items we needed the next day. Oh, and when I went to dry them there was enough lint to make stuffed animals. I took out what I could but so much was stuffed into the lint trap I honestly didn't feel safe using it. King mattress was comfortable, towels were clean and nicely folded, coffee pot new and they have pots and pans. If you get a super good discount in the summer and just need a place to sleep (bring your own sheets) while you swim, this will work. This is the worst money I've ever spent on a vacation.

Nice view and excellent location

Nice view, although the neighboring balcony is in view of ours. The apt. was clean and comfortable. The pots and pans were old scratched teflon, but plenty of dishes, cups. Noisy workers in apt. 409, but pretty quiet overall. We would stay again.

The carpets are filthy, there’s mold growing in the ceiling of the bathroom closet, ice bucket missing from freezer icemaker, Master bedroom comforter was filthy, there’s a crack on the glass of the picture hanging by the kitchen refrigerator. This place was a waste of money and we will not be staying here again!

A little disappointed

Nice condo, but could have been cleaner. Wet towels were in the washing machine when we arrived. I contacted the cleaning service and was told they would come and finish cleaning, but they never did. The complex itself and location were great.
