The property lists “free on site parking”. It has 10 units. There are 2 parking spaces at the rear where last one in has to be the first one out. This is a neighborhood row house and we found no parking on the street. The property provides instructions for a car park a 10 minute walk away that costs 11gb per day.
The site page shows a “sea view”. Of the 10 units, maybe 3 of them have “kind of” this view. Reality is that it is three blocks from the water.
Free on-site parking is a “must have” for me. Had I known the parking situation I would never have booked this place. Also, it has a “virtual front desk” which means there is no in-person to talk with. Yes, it states that in the description, but I will never book one of these arrangements again.
Kudos to Expedia who did communicate with me multiple times when I pointed out the parking issues. They were empathetic and gave me some KeyCash for the inconvenience I suffered. I encouraged them to have the owner correct the discrepancies in the description regarding parking and location.
The property itself, assuming everything worked as described, was OK. I would not call it a convenient location. There are limited options for nearby dining.
One thing for sure . . . to me it was NOT a “Seascape”!
