"We were notified 10 min before leaving that there was a mix up in reservation. We had to be put elsewhere or cancel. A total bait and switch scheme. Dirty, couldn't even use one of the beds. Just awful. If this is an example of what VRBO has for property "landlords" VRBO is not doing their follow up well. I am fearful of using VRBO again"

"We were in town for a tournament at the convention center and looking for something walking distance. This was perfect! Less than 5 min walk. The loft had everything we could have asked for and was immaculate. Instructions for entering the loft were clear and easy to follow, as well as communication before, during and after was A+! My only suggestion is that the outside of the place was difficult to find - possibly a photo of the entrance would help! But once we found it, the rest of the stay...

"Captain Ron is my favorite host so far! He met me at the dock on the cold dark pouring rain, to make sure I got aboard and was comfortable. And the next day, kept me posted on the tide situation. "This was the perfect place for us and the kids to get away to! The house and surrounding property were absolutely beautiful. Tons of space for the kids to run and play, a huge porch to relax on, and the beds were all so comfortable nobody had any issue sleeping. Will absolutely be back!"

"We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights while in town for a family event with our daughter’s family. Great little place. It does have two bedrooms but only sleeping for 3 adults as the second bedroom has only a daybed. Main bedroom does have a queen size bed. Apartment has a large kitchen but not many utensils. It would be nice if more spoons,forks and cooking utensils were provided to be able to cook eggs etc. Also all pillows were as flat as pancakes. Maybe some new ones would be nice. Also...

"This is such a cosy house! I adore the floor plan, the huge backyard, the front porch! I personally love hearing the far away trains passing by, definitely not an obnoxious sound just peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe! We were able to bake my 4 year olds cake and celebrate his birthday! It's right between richmond and Fort Lee/Fort Gregg-Adams so its a very minimal commute whicever direction. We qould definitely stay here again!"
