Great location for a base camp, to explore the Cave Creek area, with comfy bed and couch plus a full bath. Surrounded by ranch properties and natural landscape it’s a nice place to relax after your hike or ride.

The casita was clean, cozy, and in a quiet area. The hosts were communicative and had treats and a welcome note for us when we arrived. The only thing that was a little challenging was the dirt road. It had multiple potholes.

Exactly as advertised peaceful and quiet nice room with everything you needed for a short stay loved the horses and their dog Marley who greeted us most days Close to the unique town of Cave Creek lots of great shops and restaurants.Sandy and Steve were wonderful hosts and always available when needed

We really loved the place. It was our first time there and we would love to come back there.
It was very clean. They had fruit, wine,cheese and cracker and water and coffee there for us. Love the little house.

Sharing space with animals
New signage would make it easier to find. We enjoyed the mule, quail, lizards, cotton tails, cactus wrens and little ground squirrels. Horses and long horn cattle were friendly. Definitely a calm setting.

Awesome Horse Property
Absolutely loved our Casita. It was perfect for my husband and I while vending for a week in Cave Creek. Marley, the dog, was super sweet. Enjoyed her occasional visits. There were muffins, a bottle of wine and other goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing
This was a great getaway for my husband and I. Sandy had made pastries and had wine, cheese and crackers for us. That was great as we hadn't eaten and didn't something to snack on before we went out to eat. The ranch is a little out of the way but don't let that dissuade you - there are still plenty of things to do nearby. We were also fortunate enough to get to watch some calf roping at the ranch. Afterwards, the dog came over to us so that he could be praised for the good work he did. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. p.s. hope your neck gets better soon!

Perfect location
Stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding and hike. The home was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect halfway point between our wedding location in Phoenix and Sedona. The owners responded immediately to a couple of questions we had. The highlight may have been Marley, the owner’s pup that welcomed us when we arrived and came to wish us safe travels when we left. Very quiet and peaceful location as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place and location
We absolutely loved our stay with Sandy and Steve. They made us feel right at home. The Casita was perfect for two people. It is located on their family horse ranch. I loved saying hi to the horses every morning with my coffee, not to mention their adorable dog Marley. The location was perfect for getting around the area. It's so close to everything, yet you feel like you're away from it all. We went for the Waste Management Open, which was only about 25 minutes away. We were also close to several great golf courses, hiking trails, and restaurants. They also have a larger house next to the Casita that they rent out as well. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

Great location and private. Lots of horse paddocks and I think I heard a donkey or two! Nice owners who left me with several contact numbers - always helpful - but everything was fine. Lovely patio too.

Very nice mini home, set up much like a studio apartment. Very warm and inviting, host has excellant communication.
