Nice place
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very clean, nicely decorated and aptly furnished. We did a little bit of cooking and found the dish ware and pots and pans just what we needed. I was pleasantly surprised to find a filtered water pitcher in the fridge. Nice touch.I chose this condo because of the beautiful lake and all the green grass around it. A little oasis in the dessert. But when we arrived all the grass was torn up. They are just starting some new landscaping. So there were bull dozers right in front of our view and no greenery. Millie assured us that she had not been alerted to this. I don’t know how long the process will take but you might want to check with the owner before you book if you care about the lack of grass and the bull dozers. Everything else was just as we had expected. We would stay here again, hopefully with beautiful landscaping next time. 😊

Beautiful view!
Had a very relaxing stay, enjoyed a daily morning walk around the lake with lots of turtle sightings and found the balcony a lovely spot for coffee or wine depending on the time of day. Place was very clean and comfortable. Great location for our needs. Hope to stay again.

This is where we stay every time we come to visit our daughter at GCU. It’s a quick drive to the university and centrally located with things to do and places to eat. Such a peaceful get-away!

Great Place
Desert Shores was as perfect a location that you can get. It was centrally located and close to everything. Our condo was fabulous. Very clean and very well stocked with anything you need as far as housewares are concerned. Our host was great, I never needed to talk to her, but she kept in contact via e-mail throughout our stay. Comforting to know she was available and concerned on how our stay was. How ever you grade 10 out 10, 5 stars or AAA, Desert Shores was that good for us.

Perfect location, lovely condo!
The condo was exactly as described. Large wrap around covered deck overlooking a small lake. The lake has a walking path for owners/guests. There is a small fishing platform however we didnt use it. Location was very quiet yet close to everything. Highly recommend this vacation rental!

GCU graduation weekend.
We loved the location, lake and pool! All members of our family went for walks around the lake and enjoyed the pool. Very peaceful with the doves singing. Unit was super clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again!

Desert Shores Condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the adjustable guest shower head was especially appreciated. We loved the lake view and enjoyed the walking path in the mornings. We also enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony and swimming in the pool in the afternoon.

The perfect escape
We stayed here for a week from April 11th -18th, 2024. The unit was spacious and well laid out. Everything we needed was included here as well. And the cleaning was exceptional. Being a corner unit and so close to the lake was icing on the cake. We couldn't have been any happier with our experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation spot!

This home was the best. It was in a great location, and most of all, it was CLEAN, decorated beautifully, and peaceful. It was as advertised and more. The owner was delightful—our entire experience was A+++. I'll definitely return to this property when visiting family in the area.

Great time in Phoenix
We just returned from our stay at this property. It is even better than the pictures. It was very clean, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and beds throughout. The kitchen was very well stocked for anything you would want to prepare.The condo community has nice pool, pickleball/tennis courts and walking path. Everything you need is at the condo. This place is awesome! Even the other guests/residents are great. Location is central to many things. We always chose to drive because there were always a lot of people on the sidewalks. Busy neighborhood but condo community is very quiet. We would stay at this location again!

Clean and nicely appointed
This condo has been updated and is nicely decorated. Master bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, good toilet paper, and the host was friendly and responsive. The patio area has comfortable seating and a great view of the pond. We enjoyed our stay, and would love to return.

Just as advertised!
We truly enjoyed our time here! Nice location and the added bonus of the wrap around patio and lake views made for a relaxing stay. Kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you need & the bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of closet space. Felt more like staying in someone’s home instead of a rental. Will definitely come back the next time we are in Phoenix!

Comfortable and convenient
We love the Desert Shore complex for visiting our kids at GCU. It’s 12 minutes to campus and easy access to so many restaurants and venues. The unit was comfortable and the owners were responsive.

Good holiday choice!
We needed a place as centrally located as possible to visit with the many family members who live in the wide Phoenix area. It was very convenient to go east or west or north or south. The condo had what we needed for ourselves and those who visited us. So much better than a hotel - for meals, privacy, the lake view for integrating the many memories - old and new. My husband kept saying what I great job I had done choosing this condo.
