"The room was spotless and equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, the best thing was the peace you weren’t disturbed from any other guests. The bar/restaurant was nice and relaxed and the food was excellent, we would definitely stay there again."

Worth staying if only for the food

"Beautiful old building, well kept with stunning features. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with everything you need. Food......was amazing we had the 3 course 'posh' menu and it was gorgeous and the breakfast was outstanding."

Like an Ibis but expensive

"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake ..."
