"The room was clean and had the basics. The fixtures are a bit tired. The toilet seat has seen better days. the ceiling had been repaired but painted in areas with a different shade of white. Outside the areas were free of debris but the stone area the plantings could use a good weeding. Overall, a decent place to stay - not much available in Wautoma, Wi. We have stayed there more than once. "

"In town for the Packer game and this property was amazing! Awesome beds, fully stocked coffee bar, outdoor patio with firepit, provided wood and Smores kits. Host has every detail covered for your stay with a welcome bottle of wine and Spotted Cow beer. Our family loved it and will be back! "

"What a wonderful place to gain perspective. Hearing the water lapping on the rocks. Nice fire pit by the water. Saw deer crossing the road in the same spot on our daily walks. Saw cranes ducks and lots of natural beauty. A yellow tabby followed us home from a walk on a nearby country road. The home is well layed out. Really enjoyed the gas fireplace after getting a chill from our walks. Very pleasant stay! "

"I have rented on this lake the last 4 years. This place is a better fit for my family. It's safer. More railings, steps to pier and into lake are not so steep and have railings. Maybe a face washcloth in each bathroom would be nice. Also extra toilet paper in each bath would be nice. The holder in the master bath is coming koose from the wall. I honestly didn't do it. I noticed when I was changing the roll. Hope to rent for many years to come.downstairs"

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything is conveniently located. Boom Bay Bar has great food and the camp site if very nice. We also had a boat that we docked. The channel is a little shallow and weedy but had easy access to Lake Poygan. Would stay here again. "

"My son and I stayed to spend the week at EAA Airventure. The location was great for that as it's about 10 miles from the EAA grounds. The house appears older and could use some updating but was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. "We absolutely loved our mini vacation! Got out of the craziness and right into tranquility! Beautiful log home with hiking trails and a great little beach. We even went canoeing which is something we haven’t done since high school church youth group trips. Yep, I’m still kinda sore😉. The weather was perfect and so was our stay at BlackBerry Lodge. Can’t wait to bring the family back in the summer! You guys rock! "
