Pinedale fishing trip
We were excited to stay at this property based on past reviews. However the first thing that greeted us was a walkway to the front door covered with chicken droppings. The carpeting was not vacuumed, the toilets were not clean around the rim, there was owners food in the refrigerator and the fridge was not clean. The tile in the kitchen and bar hadn't been cleaned and there was crumbs all over the floor. The kitchen sink was gross. The carpet was filthy and disgusting. There was a wet rag in the bathroom sink. We weren't sure if the bedding was clean or not based on how everything else looked. Light switch plates were filthy. It was so bad, we requested and received a full refund and had to find other accommodations on short notice. Luckily, there was a couple hotel rooms available in town that we were able to get or our vacation would have been ruined.

Wild Rose is amazing. I wasn’t sure we had the right place from the outside but once inside we felt right at home. Our host was gracious and very knowledgeable of the area which was a big help. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Lots of antiques throughout. Highly recommend!

Hiking 2024
Staying at Tony’s place is a great experience. It feels like you are really living “in the West”. Cool history with the decor. He has incredible hospitality. If you are looking for a place to “feel at home”, in the beautiful of Nevada, I definitely recommend this place.

Host canceled when we showed up
I booked this house on a Sunday to stay the next night (Monday). I spoke with Tony immediately after booking on the phone, and I explained I’d call him one hour before I wanted to check in (at his request). When I called at about 4:30 (the following DAY!!), he acted confused, like we never spoke. He asked if I was the family he had been working with. Of course, I was not that family. He stated that a family from Florida had booked the place for a month. Why this had not occurred to him the day before, I'm not sure. I anticipate he will respond by blaming me or VRBO for this mishap. Don't be so sure he won't cancel your reservation if something more valuable comes up. I had driven 1.5 hours to Pinedale with 4 kids (age 2-7) in the car. Driving back wasn't an option. We were forced to stay at the Hampton (6 people). It wasn't pleasant. Travelers, beware!

There was a booking error, and this client was fully taken care of and very well at another location. Six people at 200 at 220 is pretty damn cheap rent, especially when you have all the conveniences of your home. Some people don't know when they have it good........

Pinedale Classic
We enjoyed our stay Summer 2023. House was clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Pictures accurately depicted interior. The host, Tony, is welcoming and kind. He met us on arrival for a property tour. He stayed on the property in a garage studio during our stay. This is a great base for Wind River adventures.

Good location with easy access to pinedale and surrounding mountains
We spent our time driving up into the surrounding mountains and hanging out in the Pinedale park. The cabin is a 7 minute drive from the center of Pinedale. It was a good base for a relaxing trip.

This was a very comfortable cabin for our group of 6. It had a large kitchen and table for eating and games and 2 couches and some chairs in the living room for just hanging out.

Wonderful communication & Beautiful home!
We had a fun, interesting and comfortable experience at this home with our 4 teenagers. They were interested in the history of the animals and Navajo items in the home. Anthony communicated great and made our trip exciting. The only issue was the pricing for the home on VRBO was incorrect and needed to be fixed. Anthony always reached out for questions and helped us have a great stay!

Economical choice
Overall, our stay was good. It was not as clean as I would have hoped but for the price I believe we got what we paid for. Owner is very nice and is on the property at all times if any questions or issues arise.

This person booked for 2 people and came with 9 (2 families). I could have canceled them on arrival but allowed them to stay due to youth involved. I spoke to the person about the failure to indicate number of people when she booked, She didn't believe there was a problem. I explained there is an aggregated rate based on the number of guests and the maximum is 6 people. I applied that in my opinion the action could be considered fraudulent by most standard considerations. I also had her pre-inspect the home for cleanliness prior to accepting her to stay. She inspected the house and said it was good. These negative complaints are getting to be a common comeback with people that have issues and failure to comply with rules and/or being dishonest in their bookings lately. We take housekeeping very seriously. I would not recommend this family for bookings, and in my opinion being very dishonest in their representations.

Great week
This property was great for our family. It was conveniently located just outside Pinedale on a quiet road. The host, Tony, was very friendly and helpful with providing us dining suggestions and things to see and do in the area. We would stay here again next time we are in the area. Thanks!

Very Disappointed!
We rented this house, as were were in the area for a kayaking trip. After the initial shock of arriving in what felt like a junkyard, we were greeted by the owner. We parked between two garage type buildings that were full of junk. The owner followed us into the house. He was a bit condescending, when we said that we didn't know how to use Roku. The house was very spacious, with a beautiful log interior. He showed us through the house. The rooms were very large. As we got a closer look, we noticed how dirty things were. We had to clean the bathrooms, kitchen, and refrigerator, before we could use them. The carpet was desperately in need of a deep clean. It had not even been vacuumed for quite awhile. We were so disappointed. With the amount of money, we spent, we expected the house to at least be clean. It is safe to say, that we will not stay here again.

I don't normally respond to reviews and have never had one as this, This person should stay at home. There are many reviews available to look at that would more than adequately counter this review on Air B&B and here.. This is Wyoming and not Daytona Beach. The house is clean and a bargain at that. If you prefer, go to Jackson Hole and you can rent a place for $3,500 night and tell me what you think. I agree, do not return more than happy to accommodate you.

Stay at the Wild Rose
Needed a place to stay near Pinedale after backpacking in the WRR. Tony is an excellent host and his house is a must see. The kitchen and eating area easily handled our group of 6. And that massage chair. . .

Tony is a very nice person. The house is an added bonus to the stay in the beautiful area.
The area has amazing views that are easy to view from the property. The house is full of amazing things to see and enjoy. Super comfortable.

Hunter's Delight
Quite elaborate furnishings throughout with wonderful view. Kitchen comes well stocked & owner friendly, easily available. Great for get togethers. Just off main highway, but back enough to be quiet with friendly neighbors. However, felt uncomfortable not to have a key or lock things up when away.

Just perfect
This was perfect for our hunting trip week hunt. The host was so accommodating. We loved the outside fire pit area we had great conversations around it. The beds were comfortable and the home was fully furnished and clean. Thank you for the perfect trip. 100% recommended.

Great place to stay after backpacking
We stayed here after a week backpacking in the mountains. A perfect spot--nice, clean, great kitchen and very close to the amenities in Pinedale. Tony is a great host and knows a lot about the area.

Perfect base for the Wind River Range
The lodging was very comfortable and the decor matched perfectly with the locale. The walls are filled with stuffed wild animals, including a magnificent leopard! Although we were a group of adults, I think the house would work well with families too. The kitchen was also well supplied with spices, paper products, and other food. Tony was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and convenient.
