Snowboarding at Bittersweet
Great place for snowboarding trip in the winter. Not just a summer VRBO. Hot tub and pool table were a huge hit! after boarding all day! Owner was very responsive and made our stay great.

Beautiful vacation home with great amenities & views!
Location was easy to find; quiet neighborhood & beautiful view of the cove & lake. Beautiful sunsets down by lake (no real beach)! House was very clean and well-appointed; updated kitchen and bathrooms. Bed were very comfortable - plenty of towels and linens; stairs were a bit steep to get to the loft.There are many stairs to get down to the water, so be prepared. We enjoyed the Blackstone grill, firepit & the hot tub; kids used the kayaks & pool table. Nice outdoor lighting at night. Pontoon boat was pre-emptively replaced due to a problem they had even before we scheduled it. We got a nicer, newer boat! Had a terrific family day boating; fishing was good. There is an outdoor table, but no indoor table – everyone sat at the island which fit 6 adults comfortably. We highly recommend this beautiful vacation home with lovely views. We also greatly appreciated We that it was dog-friendly!

Beautiful but needs love
Our group really wanted to love this house because it truly is beautiful but we found ourselves very disappointed. The cleanliness of the property was incredibly poor. It appears that they do a very very quick clean between guests but nothing deeper than that and everyone in our group noticed that quickly. It also was poorly stocked if you’re planning to cook in the kitchen, utensils and pots/pans are sparse. I will say the view from this home is beautiful and we did appreciate the outside of the home just wish it was more cleanly.

Great Lake House!
Our family needed a gathering place on a lake and this place was perfect. To many great things to list but the deck overlooking the lake was a favorite place besides out on the water. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone for rest and relaxation.

Beautiful property!
The view is awesome, they have taken great care to make it a nice, updated Michigan cabin. The lake was awesome, I would 100% recommend visiting the sandbar, the kids loved it! We had one small issue, and the hosts went out of their way to fix our problem, it really shows that they care. We would 100% rent from them again.

Lake Life was Good :)
Very nice house that met the needs of our family and friends. 10 people total and our dog! Lots of outdoor space for activities- deck, hot tub, grassy area, fire pit, pier (good for fishing & swimming). The only negative was the beach that is pictured was not there. It was a bummer, as we had young children coming on our trip and beach play is a fun activity for them. I read that the beach was no longer there in a review a couple days before our trip and reached out to the owner. Since this was the case, they kindly gave us a discount on renting the pontoon as the no beach was a big disappointment. I highly recommend renting the pontoon! It gave us endless hours of fun of exploring the lake, fishing, and swimming at the sandbar. This is a shallow place where you can anchor so the kids could safely swim.

Awesome experience!
My family came from all over the country to have the Pine Lake experience. I grew up on the Lake with my Grandparents, so it was extra special to share with my grown kids! The host was great, attended to our needs. I would highly recommend staying here. It was very clean with a great view!

Short visit to see family and friends
We stayed a few nights. Property was well maintained. Be prepared for stairs. We told grandma to not visit because it would have been to difficult for her. The upper bedroom does not have air. Stairs are extremely steep and even with hand rail, had a few tumbles. Lower level was too cold to enjoy for long durations. The owners need to investigate storage for their lake equipment. Boat cover dry rotted. Kayaks were in rough and extremely dirty condition. I couldn’t get the kids out in them.

Great place but no sandy beach
This home is beautiful! However the outside needs some work. I only booked this home because of the sand shown at the lake for my young kids to play in. Once we arrived there was no sand for the kids, it was all over grown with grass(wish I could submit pics on here). Also there were 2 pipes, one sticking out of the lake a couple inches looked like from an old pier, luckily I had 2 extra sand buckets to cover the pipes, my kids were playing in the water and could have easily lost their balance and been impaled by the taller pipe sticking out of the water. The outdoor patio set by the gas fire table was all rusty and the cushions were turning black and green. Again if I could submit pics I would. Overall was so peaceful and quiet. Great get away home to unplug and not hear city noise.

Great location, lots of amenities, and pet friendly!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lake Overlook! The host was extremely communicative and friendly. Check in/out was so simple. The interior of the house was beautifully designed, clean, and being pet friendly, you would never know, as there were no signs/smells of previous pet stays. The beds/linens were comfy and fresh. The great view from the large wall of windows in the open concept kitchen/living room, along with the covered hot tub and high-quality pool table, allowed us to have a great time even on a rainy day! (Bring your own boardgames.) We truly appreciated having the pups, as they had a blast by the water, as did we. There were many kayaks, a paddle boat, and life vests. (We did not rent the pontoon due to higher cost.) The wood fire pit was fun, and the wood was provided which was very much appreciated! Sadly, we were unable to use the gas fireplace and lounge area as the couch cushions were very wet/dirty since there was no cover. Along with a nearby country store, the neighborhood was quaint and safe for walking. A few notes for improvement; coverings for mid-deck amenities and/or move to main deck for a fun convenience. Better upkeep of grill and wood fire pit. Not sure if possible, but hose by lakeside to clean kayaks. Guests should note; there are lots of steps. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this beautiful home for the view, fun amenities, and friendly host!

Quiet Cozy Lakehouse w/ Amazing Hot Tub!
We were so glad to stay outside of the crazy city life. The quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake were just what we were hoping for. The decks and outside space were perfect escape, the highlight being the outdoor hot tub that we used every night. We also loved hanging in the downstairs pool table area. Floor plan worked well for our small family. **Just a suggestion: the downstairs shower looks modern and very nice, but definitely needs a curtain/door added as it ends up getting the floor very wet.
