"Perfect location at the beach, felt remote from the rest of the world, ideal for taking a short break. Our quadruple room (sea view to the side) was comfortable with all amenities and had two bathrooms. A door between the two bedrooms would have been better. The cooked breakfast had to be ordered, good variety of breakfast items available. The food served in the restaurant for dinner was also very good. Overall the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was a bit of a let...

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Staff are exceptional, breakfast and evening meal was excellent, room very comfortable and well equipped. Can't wait to see the place after refurb, will definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa was lovely. The only downside was that there was a boxing match being held on the second night of our stay. Unfortunately the bar was closed and the room we were in was quite noisy as a lot of people seemed to be walking past it and banging doors"

"Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"This is one of the most outstanding hotels that I've ever visited, and the only hotel I've stayed at three times over. "I liked the historic interest in the property it would a good idea to offer a printed brochure showing some of the history of the structure. We did not like the shower set up the nozzle kept drooping down so it was a real Nuisance trying to shower"

"My friend and I stayed a night and it was perfect. The parking was very easy, and while I slept in, my friend thought that the breakfast that was included was great. The bathroom was clean and the room itself was very cozy and spacious. We ran into car troubles on the way over, and the person I spoke with on the phone was very understanding about us checking in after hours. Would highly recommend!"

"The property was spotlessly clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable and overall it was very cosy with easy access to the beach. The indoor swimming pool was a great hit with our kid and there was lots to do nearby. The kitchen was fitted with all necessary appliances and utensils, but there was no chopping board which was a bit of a challenge while cooking. "Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom.
