"We've stayed at the Lakeside many times while visiting Penticton. This year we traveled with family and our rooms were adjoining, on a dog friendly floor. The rooms were very clean and we loved the balcony overlooking the lake. Beds were comfortable. There are lots of food options both in the hotel and walkable nearby. Vegan options include a bowl at the Hooded Merganser and also various restaurants nearby (try the Danish at Cobb's Bread). We like to get takeout coffee from the Bufflehead and...

"We have been to Penticton many times but when the kids were younger. Staying on the other side of the lake where all the wineries was such a pleasant experience. The Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful view of the lake and the vineyards. Kristen was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious with many German additions. The jams and the bakery items are made in the kitchen. We highly recommend OK Whistle Stop. "

"Very cute, family fun hotel with a wonderful garden, cushioned chairs you can relax in and get a coffee and fresh baked goods from the inside coffee shop! We were able to lock our bikes in a secured area and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend it and we will be back !"
