"We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. "

"The place was dirty. Went to the basement to check out the laundry room and found standing water because the sub pump was broken, 3 full piles of bedding in and on the washer and dryer. This led me to believe the sheets on the bed had not been washed. The stove top was dirty, dishes in the dishwasher, dirt in between the cushions of the couch. "Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "
