"The Vesper is just the right amount of historic charm mixed with a clean, modern aesthetic. Breakfast was very tasty and made better by causal conversation with other guests. The sound machine in the room and hiking suggestions were a really nice touch! 10 out of 10 would stay here again (but longer next time!)."

"Liz and Rich were (are) wonderful hosts! It honestly felt like we were visiting family. The breakfast is delicious, their home is out of this world -- so cutely decorated, comfortable, clean -- and they're very friendly, accommodating and give great recommendations. "A beautiful, well kept home that you are made to feel very welcomed & cared for! Not a far drive to downtown Woodstock, right off Hwy 4. They have a spacious backyard along the river, plenty of seating, a hot tub and even made a bonfire to enjoy. Delicious breakfast, luxurious sheets, pillows & towels, and great hosts! "We chose this bed and breakfast based on others’ reviews- and you should, too! Our room was lovely and homey and had everything you’d want or need available. Even in the summer heat we did not need the AC - it was so comfortable with the fans and the lower level is naturally cool. "My group of 4 adults and 2 small children enjoyed our stay at the property. Check in was easy. The space was very clean, the house was in a relatively convenient location to Ludlow, Echo Lake and some nice hikes but it also felt very secluded and peaceful. I’d stay again if I was in the area. "
