"This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. "We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"

"I feel the property manager should warn people that there’s nowhere to get any food after 2:30 PM. There is a small grocery store that doesn’t have much. We may do the property itself was very nice. We were very comfortable. I feel you need to put a lamp in the living room so that we don’t have to put up with the glare of the overhead light, you need to use less air freshener I am smell sensitive and it gave me a headache. Thank you for a nice place to stay. "
