"The house wasn't in perfect condition, but it was well furnished and we had no huge problems during our stay. We couldn't key in the door unlock code, so we had to wait for the host to call back, and explain where the key was hidden. The 2 kayaks were nice, but we could only find one paddle. The steps down to the beach were rickety, but not dangerous. The deck furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed having plentiful bedrooms and showers. "

"First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

"Our family really enjoyed our little getaway and the cottage was perfect for us. It was secluded, quiet, and clean. It had a rustic feel outside, and a newer updated feel inside. The cottage was supplied with a lot of little things that you might not think to bring, but were readily available for use."

"Remote and quiet. Great for getting away from everything. The beach was 5 minutes away, and we had it to ourselves. The outdoor space was well thought out, and the bunkie was a nice hang out space, even if you don't need it for sleeping space. Only downside, and nothing the owners can control, is sulfur well water. The owners provide a filter, which helps, but consider bringing some drinking water. "

There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. "We enjoyed our week long vacation with our extended family including our senior parents. This cottage is beautiful, clean, airy with comfortable beds. The beach was only a 3 minute walk and was just beautiful. We enjoyed so many sunsets that week! Kincardine has some really unique shops. Janine and Conrad were super hosts. "The view from the house and the glass windows were gorgeous! The property was nice and clean. The only caveat here is the listing hasn't mentioned it's a very very steep slope before you can access another 50+ steps to go to the beach. There was no way my mother could come down that hike to access the steps. So we had to drive down to the lower road to access the steps and there is no parking on the lower road( which is the entrance steps to the beach) for the people living on the upper road ....

"Spent a lovely few days here enjoying all that Kincardine has to offer! The apartment is cozy and lovely. It seems that every little thing has been thought of — from beach towels/chairs and extra sunscreen to throw blankets to restaurant recommendations. Immaculately clean and beautifully designed. I stayed with my 7 year old daughter and we both loved it. Highly recommend and already looking forward to coming back. "
