"Beautiful hotel, nice breakfast, convenient location. After driving for 5 hours it would have been nice to check in a little earlier than the 4pm check-in time. Charlottetown in February, most of the stores and coffee shops were closed and the sidewalks were full of ice and slush. The staff invited me to sit in the lobby for 2 hours until check-in time, but after a 5-hour drive I just wanted to rest. I think the staff could have been a little less rigid in this situation."

"I realize cheaper rates but I was not a fan of needing to pay for a coffee and also being locked out of the common room area before check out time , so we couldn’t even get back in to buy a coffee "

"The appartment globally was nice, but it was completely frozen when we got in. With a 1 year old baby, we were wishing to have a place already heated. Wall heating unit was not releasing any heat even at maximum. Fortunately there is a floor heating system and a little stove, so we were able to heat up the place after 4 hours. Could definitely be a little cleaner, but not dramatic. Staff was really kind. Bed was confortable. The kitchen is great."

"The Dundee Arms is a grand old home in the middle of Charlottetown's historic district. The room we stayed in was tastefully furnished and decorated to complement the era of the home. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. There are numerous excellent restaurants, unique shops, and the lovely boardwalk by the harbour, all within easy walking distance."
