Brilliant property
Excellent for an extended family holiday. The home is well appointed, spacious and beautifully decorated. Great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The tropical gardens are amazing, surrounding houses are quite near but you wouldn’t think so with all of the tropical gardens for privacy. Host was extremely helpful with our few questions beforehand.

wonderful family stay
this was the perfect layout and position for our family of 7 adults a three children 2,4 and 7. It is ideally located very close to the beach, and has many areas for sitting and relaxing. the pool was great. 4 bedrooms also had their own ensuites. the communal loung area was large, as was the undercover area. The owner, John was super communicative and helpful. the one negative was that it is starting to show its age with wear and tear, but I believe it is due to have some refurbishments done soon. we loved our stay here

Wonderful Family Holiday
Relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. Close to the beach and quiet location. Well equipped with plenty of space for all our family groups to separate and yet be together to relax. We loved the location.

Large house great location
The bathrooms and linen were clean but the house is starting to look a little tired. That said, all of us had our own bathrooms which was fantastic for a large group and the location was perfect- right on the beach and a short stroll to local cafe/restaurants. Kids made great use of the pool and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the host for use of this fantastic house.

Great holiday house, had an amazing stay!
This was a great place to stay, 5 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room. We didn't get to use the pool much due to the weather which was unfortunate, but did many day trips to other local areas. Four Mile Beach is 20 meters away which was handy. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again. John was easy to deal with, even before we booked.

Birthday and wedding anniversary celebration
This property is a perfect size for a large group, all the bedrooms having their own bathroom and balcony meant that if someone wanted their own time, they could enjoy that space. The pool is a decent size, we spent many hours in there. We took full advantage of the kitchen and BBQ, as previously mentioned in another review, an outdoor fan would've been appreciated, especially on very still days. We tried to fit in all that Port Douglas had to offer, there are lots of transport services which will take you to wherever you need to go. John is very approachable whenever we had any issues or needed extra information. All in all we had an amazing time.

Nice house with close access to the beach. Allows for your own privacy with individual ensuites. Large downstairs and outdoor area. Nice big tables to allow indoor and outdoor dining. Separate laundry area. Great pool

Ten at the beach
The Property is very dated and in need of a refurbishment. One TV in the whole house and in a small room only meaning only a couple of people can sit and watch if staying in. There were a number of issues with the property which would have already been known prior to our arrival. (on reading some of the previous reviews appears this was the case prior to our arrival). The owner did rectify a couple of them and provided a bottle of bubbles as a peace offering which was appreciated but didn't change the ongoing list of issues we experienced. All have been communicated to the owner and hopefully they are resolved before the next persons stay. Property is a long way from the main part of Port Douglas- too far to walk, meaning you need a car and or always calling a cab. I have stayed in better properties in Port Douglas which are closer to to the town even if slightly more. All the best John!

Great location, property has I little maintenance issues but over all nice house very spacious it was like been back in Bali. Pool area was great as 5 adults spent a bit of time in there it was so inviting. Host John was great has a few issues which he attended to quick smart. Overall nice place would stay there again.

Amazing family holiday house!
We had such a great time using this property. The kids didn’t get out of the pool the whole time. There were plenty of pool toys also. John was very accomodating for the kids, providing a high chair, cot and trundle beds! We had 5 couples and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. We also really enjoyed having the beach at the end of the street and a lovely coffee shop at the other end! There were plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen. We will be recommending this house !

Good Set Up for bigger groups
The overall setup of the house as well as the location was excellent though the house was needing quite a bit of maintenance. It was very hot sitting out on the back deck as there was never any breeze. It definitely needs a ceiling fan or something there to circulate the air. The bed we had seemed no bigger than a double bed but we had the smallest room. The king beds were downstairs only. I suggest, that it would be a good idea to have a small smart TV put in every bedroom as the only TV in the house was in the smallest room (loungeroom) downstairs with no TV in the large family/dining area or out on the patio, where we spent most of our time. We were told by the owner in his list of instructions for the house that it is a lovely cool house but this was not the case. To be fair though, we were there over Xmas and New Year so it rained every day and was very muggy. The beach, which was just a short walk away nearly always had a lovely breeze but on the patio it was a sweatbox. Not pleasant at all. There was a large leak right above the door as you walk from the dining/family room out to the patio which was reported in a review in 2017 which still has not been fixed. Overall the house is in a good position but would be much better if some maintenance was done.

Girls weekend birthday celebration!!
Wonderful place to stay, very relaxing, clean, beds very very comfy, lots of room, close to the beach, loved the pool, perfect place to celebrate my sisters birthday with some good friends, we had an amazing time, highly recommend ten at the beach, John was wonderful to deal with, loved everyminute, we didn't want to leave, already planning the next getaway. Attractive property adjacent to beach and close to good local shops with easy access town centre
Good for large family group- very good service from property manager- some of furniture a bit tired and pool needed a clean, but generally very comfortable. Would recommend.

Wonderful Place.
5 bdrms with 5 bathrooms was very convenient. Location is great with Beach just short walk. Pool was chilly but it's was winter. Don't be concerned about distance to city center . Shuttles/cabs available and there are several good eats/drinks in short walking distance.
