"It was a great get away weekend for us. The beach access was great, beautiful sunrise photos! 60% sand, 40% rocks. The house was perfect for us. Cozy, senior-pet and toddler friendly because it only had a few steps. Nothing fancy about the house, but that’s what we wanted. Could use some renovations (outlet in kitchen didn’t totally work, window A/C unit, new pull-out bed couch) Overall, reminded me of the old hunting cabins turned rentals we would stay in way up north. "Everything was as described or better. The condition of the property was excellent even after a full summer season. The interior was well appointed and spotless. The location was great for tours up and down the Thumb coast. The fall colors were excellent, if not peak close to it. Enjoyed just sitting on the beach and patio watching sunrises and moon rises over the lake. Would definitely do this property again."

"Doing a little autumn tour of the thumb area. Cottage was just what we needed: plenty of space, pleasant setting, comfortable bed and furnishings, newly redone kitchen & bathroom. We were able to relax and visit the area. Would recommend."

"We were in town for a family funeral. What a wonderful retreat to relax, celebrate life and reminisce together. There was ample room to eat together, a big deck to enjoy the evening, and the bedrooms are spread out enough the early risers didnt wake the others. Beautiful and tastefully decorated. Fresh Michigan apples were a nice touch!"
