"This is a lovely accommodation with beautiful water views from the living and bedroom areas. The hosts were so nice to give us eggs, apple crisp and cookies upon arrival - what a nice touch. The space was roomy, clean and newly finished. For us the location was perfect as we like to be "out of the way" and not in busy towns. We would recommend this rental to our friends!"

"We booked this accommodation as a 4-day fieldwork base. The mill house has its idiosyncrasies. As long as you set your expectations for camping conditions in a remote part of the world, you will find the structure to be sufficient. The location is spectacular and the jetty is very impressive. "The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, but the kitchen is poorly equipped if you do choose to stay in for a meal. There was also a problem with the pump, which needed to be reset frequently."
