"Kittiwake House was an excellent place to stay in Port Erin and a very convenient base for exploring all of Isle of Man. There's so much within a short walk (Tesco, restaurants, takeaway, The Isle of Man Railway, etc) that a handier location is hard to imagine. "Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. "Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture...

"We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. "

"Whilst property looked good on arrival, no heating or hot water for 24 hours. Mattresse very thin and cheap couldn't sleep on it had to use sofa bed, bins not emptied daily, kettle ridiculous faulty plugs in kitcken to use toaster. Accused when left of breaking toilet lid and leaving toilet brush covered in feace and smoking in there we smoked out side it must have blown in as it was windy. AVOID THIS APARTMENT.
