"This property was nicely decorated and supplied with everything you need. Washer and dryer in the basement was a bonus. It was conveniently located for all of our activities. They were very responsive when you needed something. This was my favorite property of the 6 we have stayed in on this trip."

"Very beautiful small flat, Ideal for a couple planning to visit Halifax. We attended a wedding in the city so we also had a friend staying with us on the sofa bed. Flat was squeaky clean and the layout was thought through. It was very nice to see that the owner is thinking about the details like condiments in the kitchen or even spare toothbrushes in the bathroom. "Beware, photos can be deceiving - this apt is very worn out and a bit rustic throughout. And that’s not the worst part, though the apt is swept cleaned, the furnishings are dirty with a lot of food stains in the sofa and rugs. We had to wear socks to avoid getting black feet. "There were zero reviews of this property so I was slightly leery. But it was excellent—just new on VRBO. Its a walk-out lower level with big windows in the LR overlooking a private backyard. Just one full bath but there is a second sink/vanity/mirror so that worked out great. lot of retail nearby. Stairs to back entry are unusual and narrow. Be prepared to carry your bag down."

Unit is in a prior commercial or retail space so not best outside appeal but was quiet and safe while we were there 2 days. Other units in the building. Good value. Clean and comfortable. "

It's a good location for day trips around Nova Scotia. We loved staying here after a busy day of sightseeing and were able to relax and unwind.
