"My wife and I stayed for a week here and had zero complaints about the property. It was very nice, spacious, well outfitted and everything worked. The bed was comfy and overall, we would stay here again with no reservations. I either missed it or didn't realize the property is in a holiday park. This did not affect our stay in any way though. "We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with modern kitchen & bathroom, a comfy sofa and bed and beautiful views. It is tucked away in a peaceful location but only a short drive from Derwent Water and Ullswater so there’s plenty to see and do nearby. The secure garden was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage to couples / singles who want a peaceful location."

"Sehr schön eingerichtetes und sauberes Cottage in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Einzig der allabendliche Weg in den Pub entlang der doch recht befahrenen Straße war ein wenig unangenehm. Ansonsten alles top!"

"Really nice accommodation in a very nice location. Well presented and clean lodge with great view of the Lake. Brilliant welcome pack very informative and welcome advice on walks and where to go. Enjoyed the area 15 min drive to Keswick, I found that the turn off from the road to the site is a short distance from the signage and recommend hiiting your indicator as soon as you have passed the sign and start slowing as you often have cars travelling at speed behind you. "We have raved about this house to so many people. It was beautiful and spacious and right near some amazing hikes. This area is breathtaking. Working with the host was very easy and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this home. If you don't have a rental car, make sure you come prepared with some food (as there is only 1 pub nearby, and it has unpredictable hours). We hope to return one day!"

"Great location to experience the Lake District. Walks from the front door or only a short drive away providing views and immersion into all the Lakes has to offer. A lovely location to stay in that was quiet, well appointed and perfect for what we needed. "Our room was nice. We had a terrace but when you sit down, all you can see is a cream wall ( you have to stand up for the view). The hotel should take a foot or two from the wall and install railings. Complimentary wine was undrinkable. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom which I expected for the price ( £730.20 with parking). Hotel needs a power wash as it look rather tatty. Enjoyed breakfast but though a £5 additional charge for eggs Benedict/ eggs Florentine. Great location."
