"This a well maintain home to stay in. The grounds are beautiful that includes a nice fire pit. There are many areas to hike or just sit back on the great porch and watch the deer come in at dusk. The deer came within 15 yards of the porch while we sat watching them. We had a nice picnic by the small waterfall that is near the house."

"Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up. "

"We were looking for a place to go and relax as busy moms. This place was perfect! We loved the hiking trails, the beautiful covered porch, the fire pit. The amenities in the cabin were prefer to relax and watch movies by the fireplace. We loved everything!"

"If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax"

"Bunker Hill is a charming log cabin perched atop a ridge. Very comfortable, artistic ambiance. Highpoint Retreat cabins are located in the extraordinarily beautiful Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin. The covered deck in back provides endless views of the hills and coulees below. I enjoyed the hikes down (and up!) the trails directly behind the cabins. The only sounds I heard were of the birds and the wind. Privacy, quiet and comfort abound. It really was a "retreat." Perfection!"

"Gal friends out for a weekend to see Charlie Berens show at the LaCrosse Center. The accommodations were pretty outstanding. Very cute set up and with much appeal and a lot of space. Great idea to have the Scavenger hunt. Not sure if you offer more than one house key, but would recommend for larger groups if they choose to do different adventures and split groups. Would highly recommend and return to this vrbo. Well done and thank you for accommodating with early check in."
