Perfect size and great location
We had a group of adults and teens. The teens had a great time having their own room and being able to walk to the pier and main streets of OOB. Everything was close by. Its a cottage so its not huge but there was plenty of room for us to sleep, relax in the living room, and eat at the table. The owner was very helpful. She checked in to see if we needed anything when we got there and gave us detailed info about the property and OOB. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice neighborhood Short walk to Beach
The cottage was clean and fairly attractive inside. The garden area did not feel private and looked somewhat run down. The beach was perfectly lovely and the location was good for visiting nearby towns. Although the property and requirements for stay were described accurately, we found the rules, listings for guests and cars, checklists for beach equipment etc. quite rigorous,. As a guest you are responsible for your own sheets and towels and all the cleaning before the next guests come. For a long weekend and with two small children to mind this was burdensome. I’m sure the owners were pushed into this position by groups of kids coming to stay and enjoy the midway and party atmosphere in the town. There are some run down properties in the area but the immediate neighbors were fine.

We decided to take this trip with less than 24 hours notice. It was my first spontaneous trip. The host was excellent and accommodating considering I booked the night before. We wanted to find a rental close to a friend who was also staying in the area. She was the only host out of several to respond back in a timely manner. The house was very cute and worked for us. Location was great.

Close to the family fun, but with quiet neighbors. The cottage was well appointed as a home base for 9 days of family fun. The host had check in/check out down to a science, and was very responsive. Would definitely book again.

Great place, great location!
My family and I loved staying at this cute cottage. It had what we needed and we were very comfortable. The AC and washer and dryer were definitely a plus. The location of this house was IDEAL. Just a quick walk to the stores, pier, beach, and carnival. Communication with the owner was great as well. We definitely want to return to this house!

Lovely little cabin close to everything
We ended up having a rainy and cold 4th of July, but this was still a great cabin to use as our home base: close to downtown OOB as well as an easy drive to the highway and other Maine points such as Portland, we ended up having a wonderful weekend. Gigi was a great host who was super responsive and helpful in preparing for our trip. The cabin was clean, accommodating and had what we needed to make our weekend away in OOB very enjoyable.

Fabulous stay in OOB
My family and I absolutely loved our beach getaway at Jeanette’s cottage! It was cozy, very nicely decorated and a great home away from home. The beds were really comfortable, which is important. Easy walk to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location! Cute place!
Absolutely wonderful time! This property is conveniently located to downtown, grocery stores, and shopping. We stayed in Oct and were able to walk most places. We also went to Portland To experience the breweries (20min Drive) And Freeport Outlets (30min Drive). Trail of terror (walk through haunted house- 8 min drive)was fun and scary! The house was perfect to cook small meals and play board games. Super cozy and clean. Would absolutely stay again! People/owners very friendly. Great area!

Everything you need is right here
This was such a cute house and the description was on point. There were 6 of us, 2 families, it was snug but it worked perfectly. We really enjoyed having the kitchen to make breakfast and dinner, the grill, the patio for cards after a day at the beach, and the tv for the day of the storm. It was nice to also have a washer/dryer on site. The location of this home is perfect to go to the beach and the attractions, while also giving you a bit of down time if you need/want it. Jeanette was fantastic to work with. During our stay there was a storm coming in, she had reached out to let me know of the weather and the next day checked in as well. The check in/out process was so easy, Jeanette was available during my whole stay and very responsive during the whole booking/rental process. I would recommend this rental to others and stay here again the next time I head to OOB. Thank you Jeanette for opening up your home to others to enjoy the area.
