Amazing Home!
We had such an amazing experience at this home. It was very cozy and spacious for the price. The minor details that hardly anyone pays attention to were all at our finger tips. The books, the postcards, the art. It was so perfect! It's walking distance to restaurants and shops. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts were very attentive but gave us our space, even though they live upstairs. It was great time. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful home!
It was a gift just being in this house, truly. So much character and love put in to every detail. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was so quiet and peaceful. And as two women staying alone we both felt perfectly safe.

Beautiful and Charming!
This was a lovely, quick stay for us in Portland. The home was SO charming and interesting! We loved the decor and art that dressed up this historic home. Beds were large and comfy, plenty of space to spread out in all of the rooms. We've stayed in other locations of Portland and felt unsafe and saw car break-ins, etc, but felt completely safe and comfortable in this beautiful neighborhood that's tucked away. But yet it was a 5 minute drive to the Moda Center where we were attending a concert. So convenient! Would definitely stay here again, and the property owners were lovely and willing to accommodate our needs without hesitation. Well done!

Lovely house in a great location
This is a very lovely, comfortable house, nicely furnished, great beds. Great location, beautiful quiet, well treed neighborhood, close to everything- grocery stores, restaurants, shops, the downtown. Looking forward to returning.

Another excellent stay
We stayed here a few weeks prior so nothing has changed. Excellent house, great neighborhood for walking. Discovered that you can walk thru the park and then along Klickiklat which is a tree lined walkway until 14th and only then haBe to walk on a street for 1 block to get to Whole Foods plus a great coffeehouse and a good pho restaurant.

Beautiful and spacious
Loved our stay in this really beautiful house. It was clean, spacious, and really well decorated. Communication was easy. They gifted us some chocolate and wine which was a lovely touch. Neighborhood was quiet but still close to the action.

Girlfriends get away
This is a beautiful property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking or short driving distance to a market and restaurants. The home is a designer’s delight with attractive and interesting pieces throughout. My favorite amenities were the fresh flowers in nearly every room as well as a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate left by the amazing hosts on the dining room table. I will definitely be staying here again.

Spacious and Charming Vintage Portland Home
We enjoyed our stay on the main level of this beautiful home for a weekend getaway with the girls. Our space was comfortable and clean, offering all the amenities we needed. Parking and check-in were simple, and communication with the owner was quick and easy. We took an evening walk through their peaceful, historic neighborhood to a nearby restaurant and returned to sit on the front porch to enjoy the mild late summer night air.

Even better than the description
When we walked into the house, we thought, "WOW, this is where we get to stay for the night?!" The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful home. Super comfortable beds. Great neighborhood for walking around (including walking distance to food). This was an amazing stay for the night. We met the owner outside the home the next morning while we were packing up... friendly, lovely person. Definitely recommend!

This is an old style home. Lovely design, built-ins, design features not found in newer homes. It’s well taken care of and comfortable. There’s a light scent of wood. Very roomy. There’s also a comfy seating area with a table on the front porch. The owners live upstairs and are friendly and helpful. The outside area has lots of foilage. The nearby park is a great walk. There’s a Whole Foods nearby. A 15 minute easy walk or a 5 minute drive. I had a short but comfortable stay.

Beautiful Craftsman in a great neighborhood!
We (i.e., me, my wife, my sister and her husband) stayed at this property during our week-long visit to Portland in mid-May 2024. This house was just lovely and very spacious for the four of us. The interior of the house has beautiful Craftsman-style woodwork throughout. It's also in a great residential neighborhood with easy access to all Portland has to offer. The owners live on the second floor, but we rarely saw or heard them. We felt like we were alone in our own little home. Nicely decorated with all the amenities you need. We are veterans of several VRBO stays, and we highly recommend this property!

Solid choice for the area
Overall the place matched the listing description. Water pressure was decent and didn't run out of hot water. They didn't make us strip the beds or take out the trash, which was nice. Owner was friendly and responsive with communications. This probably isn't normally the case, but they were doing some kind of work upstairs, so there was quite a bit of noise during the day, but nights were very quiet and we slept well. There were many amenities like extra blankets and toiletries, plus they left us a bottle of wine & chocolate bar. Streaming TV was easy to sign in/use. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to access many places by car. No problem finding street parking.

Great rental.
It was a pleasure being a guest at this beautiful craftsman home. On a quiet street, just two blocks to a lovely park - our family had a wonderful time in springtime Portland. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We would love to return.

Bright and relaxing
What a beautiful home. We enjoyed every minute of staying in this house, it was a shame we went out to eat and wanted to explore Portland! Every room has impeccable ambiance and styling. Communication was great, and we thought it would be weird with the owners upstairs but we didn't really notice them at all.

Historical quarters in a great area
Friends and I came down to Portland for a little day trip. Susan and Jim made check in and check out a breeze. We all raved about how clean it was and kept finding new details and charm to admire throughout our stay. We all woke up very well rested (which is a rare occasion for all of us) and it was a nice surprise. The Irvington area is very walkable, not to mention all the quaint homes and landscaping you pass as you're heading downtown. The park down the street is great for walking off those big meals from the city.
