Well located in old town
Well located flat close to Sao Bento stations - easy to get to from the airport. Easy walks to all of the hot spots. Washer is nice for long stays. Street noise can be loud but use the AC fan to help. Easy access and the host communicates well and responds quickly. Recommend

Great property right in the heart of Porto. Within walking distance of everything. Exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay here again. Short walk to the waterfront. If you want to experience Porto this property is perfect.

Recommend
Right in the heart of the city. Easy Uber ride to property. Can be a bit confusing to find the entry door the first time, but quickly figured it out. Can be a bit noisy at night, as you’re right on one of the busier areas in town. It’s the city though, so you can’t complain. Shower head wasn’t attached to the wall, so showering was a bit difficult. I’m sure they’ll get that repaired. Would stay here again, no question about it.

Well designed unit in excellent location.
We really enjoyed the walkable location in the historic core near the San Bento train station, and lots of restaurants , shops and key sights. The apartment was beautifully designed with a full kitchen, lots of security features, and was well stocked with everything we needed.

Nice, clean unit. Very busy street.
The location is very close to the train station, which is very convenient. The down side to this is there are a lot of pan handlers and drug use is obvious. We witnessed a woman smoking crack on the steps to the entry door of our unit and the begging can be fairly aggressive at nearby restaurants. The unit was well appointed and clean. As advertised, the unit does have air conditioning, but it is a portable unit and the door to the balcony has to be open to use it. Making it very noisy and the smell of car and truck fumes fill the apartment. The street is very busy and noisy unlit late into the evening. Location is excellent, but there are downsides.

Lovely Porto
Beautiful place. Great location. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go. We did not mind the street noise as it added character and ambience to the stay. Might be more noise in the summer, we were there in November.

Great location in Porto
We had superb communication with the host. Some difficulty locating and accessing the property at check-in was addressed over the phone easily. My only suggestion would be to simplify/clarify the instructions to access the apartment and access code system. The apartment was very clean and suitable for a couple staying in central Porto. Everything is very accessible by foot, including the main train station (Sao Bento) just down the street. Located on a main street of Porto, nights are loud and often can be heard from the bedroom. Temperature control is more difficult than expected given the type of A/C unit in the apartment (requires the window to be open at night to vent hot air, which is not preferable when the street is loud). Lastly, the host required an additional cash payment to comply with Portugal's tourist tax, and the payment was not included in the "property fee" as expected.

Great location made for very noisy stay
This is a clean, cute apartment which looks out onto a nice pedestrian only street. Very walkable to restaurants, shops, sights and close to the train station so the apartment is easy to get to. Unfortunately, we stayed during a very busy time for tourists and the weather was very hot. Some of the reviews say they were able to shut out the street noise by closing the windows and shutters, but this was not an option for us as we needed to run the air conditioner. The air conditioner was a portable unit which was quite effective but required that the window/door out to the street remain open. With the window open we heard the street noise which went on most of the night and started early in the morning. Also note that there is construction going on at the train station (jackhammers/pile drivers) so the noise during the day was intense (visit October 2023). Not really a problem as we were generally out all day exploring but wouldn't be suitable if you wanted to work or spend time in the apartment during the day (for example to nap/catch up on sleep).

Conveniently located, beautiful apartment.
Across the street from the Sao Bento train and metro stations. We came in from airport by metro, convenient with luggage. Perfect location to walk the old town and see the sights. Nice stroll down a walking street, to walk to the Ribera or easy metro or busing. This apartment had two balconies. It’s noisy at night but we loved the vibe of the street activity and didn’t mind.The bed was comfortable and our hostess gave very detailed and helpful advice about the area, eateries and what to do.

Experience Porto Right in the Heart of the City
First of all, the apartment is extremely easy to get to, just a block away from historic São Bento train station. The street just outside the unit radiates with life and energy and you feel like you're in the middle of someplace special. Here you feel like you're actually a part of the city. Pretty much everywhere we wanted to go was within a 15-minute walk. Plus the unit was clean, compact, and the washing machine was an extremely helpful touch for two people in the middle of a two-week European trip. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in Porto
We stayed in this centrally located studio apartment for 3 nights. What a perfect location for exploring all the sights of Porto! Even though it’s just a studio, the apartment felt very spacious and was perfect for my husband and me. Because it’s in the heart of the city it is a bit noisy but with the windows shut at night we could sleep well! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location
Accurate description. The managers were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is right on the Rue de Flores and very convenient. There is some noise at night. Not a problem if the windows are closed. Ac works well but only operates with the windo open. I recommend this VRBO.

Great stay! Road closure problems but not bad at all
Lovely location, clean property, communicative hosts. Had some trouble with the check in but everything worked out. Make sure you check road closures if you take a car, we had a hard time navigating to get to the recommended parking garage. Location is literally lovely.
