"This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and my daughter and two grandsons. It was equipped with everything we needed. We spent alot of time at the lake fishing, having coffee in the morning listening to the wildlife and also having a fire each night. Even the firewood was provided. I highly recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back!"

"Brought our family of 4 here for a little getaway to celebrate father's day weekend. Its a little town but we found plenty to do. Antiques and Miller's were a great find. The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us. Very clean! Owners responded quickly and were very helpful. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and just listening to nature. The pond for fishing was a blast. My husband who hates fishing even had a good time trying it. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin again."

"My yearly extended family get together was very enjoyable at this beautiful property. The swimming pond was most appreciated in the summer heat and the water temp was perfect, not too warm nor cold. The kitchen is well stocked, the outdoor bar / grill with direct TV and fire pit was a great gathering spot. The location is a little remote, but still an easy drive to Serpent Mound, hiking, breweries, wineries, Portsmouth Murals, and the world's largest horseshoe crab in Hillsboro!"

"We appreciated our stay at The Sanctuary. The host was very on point with response times and providing "key" information. Easy check-in process. Host was very helpful with accommodation needs, providing good space for our family. Very nice kitchen, well-equipped and functional. Very clean with comfortable beds. Free Wi-Fi available, limitations on use, definitely a place to "unplug". Family certainly enjoyed their stay at The Sanctuary."

"The stay was good, they allowed us to bring our service dog! They gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, but we don't drink wine so we left it. Would've loved to have a washer/dryer on site, we stayed for 6 days and had to go to do laundry on day 4."

"We really enjoyed staying in this cabin and in this area. It was convenient for the activities we had planned, and it was so peaceful to start and end the day rocking on the front porch. We usually visit this area twice a year and plan on staying here from now on. Highly recommend it!!!"

"The property was amazing! The house is so cute and homey. We traveled almost 800 miles and what a pleasant surprise after a long drive. The yard made my pups so happy! The weather was great. Always a breeze while sitting on the patio. My family lives about 10 minutes away, so it was very convenient. They all loved the property, too! I’ll definitely book again when I come back up!"

"Mi estancia en el hotel fue para visitar a mi hijo que esta estudiando en Shawnee State University. Este fue uno de los hoteles que tuvo disponibilidad para los dias que yo necesite. La ubicacion del mismo no es la mejor, se encuentra al final de una calle cerrada, junto a un deposito de camiones de Coca-Cola. La entrada al hotel necesita mejorarse, luce viejo y los sillones muy gastados. La habitacion estaba limpia y lucia mejor que la entrada del hotel. La cama muy confortable, bien decorado....
