"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...

"A wonderful cottage and a very nice interior. Ric as a host was absolutely easygoing und caring. Any request he answered within shortest time, which made us feel welcome and looked after very well. The cottage is very spacious and it was a terrific idea to change one of the former bedrooms into a huge bathroom. Heating and fireplace was working perfectly. "Can’t recommend this place enough. We had a fantastic stay here for New Year’s Eve. The photos don’t do the place justice - it has so much space, and so much character. "We hired the house for the weekend for a group of 10 adults and 11 children. The house is incredibly spacious whilst being cozy and comfortable. We all fell in love with the kitchen which had a lovely seating area and pellet burner, a perfect place for a drink and a chat. The house is really well equipped with everything you could imagine needing. Sarah was incredibly helpful and great at communicating. I would highly recommend the house and the area for a weekend away. "
