Our getaway
Cozy cabin, nestled in the outskirts of Baraboo. Great for the scenery and hiking. A chance to unplug and get away from the big city to spend quality time nature.

2nd time
We stayed here 12 years ago. Not much has changed. Oven needs to be replaced. If we were to come again I think my camping furniture would be more comfortable than the couch. Maybe time for some updates. Great view. Bird watching was excellent and the little Christmas tree was a nice addition.

Quiet at Quietwater cottage
We had a nice short getaway to this cottage on the river. Because the area is only residential, it's quiet. Definitely a different pace for us. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and there were plenty of linens. There were several birds around the river (cranes?) as well as a visiting hummingbird. The hottub was a nice addition for when it got chilly after September sunset. Great nearby hiking within 30 or so minutes!

Beautiful Location
We had a great stay in the cabin. The view is always a treat, and the hot tub on the cabin is perfect for chilly evenings. Lighting a fire in the pit outside was pretty difficult as it was full of ash and the wood was wet (nothing to protect it from rain). The heat in the cabin is only in the central room, which was okay in 40-50 degree weather, but might be chilly in the winter. Overall a great stay though, with plenty of touches to make it feel homey.

Anniversary Trip
The location and charm was on point and exactly what was advertised. We both loved the property and the experience of staying here next to the lake entrance - hot tub, fire pit, bird watching: what more could you ask for! Excellent distance from hiking.

Cute cabin with a beach
We enjoyed our stay here over Labor Day weekend. My 2 year old and baby enjoyed the beach area right on the property. It was sandy so they could play. Also the water was shallow so they could wade out in it. There was a fireplace with lots of wood, a big deck with a nice table and grill. They also have a hot tub on the deck with the nice view but we didn't get around to using it.

So fun!
Our family of four had the best time here! Our girls ages 8 and 5 loved the bunk beds, hot tub and canoe/kayak adventures. The cabin had everything we expected and more. Loved watching the hummingbirds and every morning a doe and her fawn would wade across the river. Loved every second and can’t wait to return!

Relaxation by the river
Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at this lovely location! Despite the crazy weather and some parts of the area being flooded, we had an amazing time. Getting to see all the wonderful birds was such a treat! Thank you for having the feeders! I cannot say enough about the beautiful area - the walks were wonderful and checking out Lodi & the village of Poynette was fun! The hot tub was especially lovely to enjoy at the end of the day. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you for being so accommodating!

Great summer getaway
This turned out to be the perfect rental for our getaway to Wisconsin. We really enjoyed being able to use the hot tub, the beautiful view of the river and the peaceful location. Sitting on the deck with our coffee in the morning, listening to and watching the birds was idyllic. The owner was responsive and gave us great tips for fishing in the area. The cottage is exactly what is pictured. It’s small but perfect for a couple or family with young kids. We loved staying here and will definitely keep it in mind for future WI trips.
