We were 11 people overall staying in this location. The decoration and design of the house is beautiful. The dinning room and the living room are open and big, ideal for 8+ people. We were able to all sit together around the table and it was great. The house is basically on the corner of 2 streets and the background is very small in the back. The air conditioning is through a wall unit so it was high in the staircase, very high in the rooms in the attic if wanted (with additional units) but not super strong on the first and second floor. We were there during a very warm week but it was still okay at night time (just a little warm in the kitchen when preparing food). The kitchen is great with the gas stove and the cabinetry. We would have enjoyed more room to put our food away and more counter tops for the food preparation (as the non-fresh food was on the counter). A kitchen island would have been wonderful. The bedrooms are big but there was no storage unit (dresser) to put our clothes. Not a big thing but would have been nice. The property does not include Sandbanks passes so we had to purchase 2 of them (for the season even though we were only there for one week). In the past, the houses had included one or two passes for the Sandbanks park so that would have been nice. There was not a lot of toiletry products in the bathrooms, we had to purchase it (liquid dish soap in the kitchen, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms) as we were used to have it furnished with the houses in the past. Overall, a very nice house, with large open spaces that will great for big groups.
