Loved this place - it worked perfectly for just me but would have loved to have a few girlfriends with me to hang out with and it would have been the perfect place to stay for the weekend. Small and quaint with everything one might need.

Gorgeous spot
Loved our stay at the Gin Trap, best part was the view over Tauranga Moana, whether sitting on the sand dunes watching the waves roll in or on the deck watching the kids and dog playing in the yard. House was super comfortable with everything you need and the host lovely to communicate with. Will definitely be back!

The beach was really nice and the scenery was really good, but more than that, everything in the house, beds, etc. was clean and nice to stay. It's the best place to heal quietly with your family.

Beach Front Beauty
We stayed a week and swam and played in the surf, -just a great place with a well stocked kitchen for us to cook and relax. The lovely large deck and outdoor shower were a nice bonus. The beach here is exceptional for walking and playing, and not many people either, often just the 2 of us.

What an amazing Bach right on the beach! Beds were comfortable, plenty of space with fabulous outdoor porch area for relaxing / eating, all the necessary amenities. The sound of the ocean surf at night made it heaven!

I loved having the beach directly out the back yard with private access. I left the window open at night so I could hear the crashing of the waves. The view was amazing. The interior of the house was not large but it catered well for the 3 of us. It was tidy and it was great we didn't have to cart blankets and towels etc and were given a complimentary snack pack, thank you. It had everything as described in the description with a humangous deck. Thank you for hosting us and would definitely highly recommend to others.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this bach. The location is excellent, couldn’t get a better view. Communication with the host was great, we had everything we needed and more. Little touch’s like the hammock on the deck and the beach toys in the shed made the kids day ! We will definitely return .

The PERFECT Bach!!
The property owner was beyond fabulous, her communication was excellent and the information provided was very helpful. The property is just as described and was the perfect beach getaway. The outdoor shower really is a treat (highly recommend!!). The houseis beautifully presented and clean, and has absolutely everything you could need for a great weekend away.

Loved our proximity to the beach for long dog walks - great having a park etc next door. Very comfy beds & good quality bed linen. A really wonderful little beach suburb - not too busy. Maketu, near by, is worth a visit - famous pies & a fabulous seaside cafe. Thank you Rachelle ♥️

Everything was perfect, as it was explained with great communication and all the necessities provided. Right on the beach, perfect for an easy swim and my dog loved it. The outdoor shower was so good I didn't even use the one inside. Recommendation for the Thai takeaway did not disappoint. The only problem is finding enough time to come back more often!
