A lovely stay for 3 generations in a beautiful setting!
We had such a great time at Llwyn Ffynnon! The setting is beautiful and secluded with wonderful views of the sea, and gorgeous sunsets from the terrace and bedrooms! The cottage is charming and comfy, and has everything you'd need for a relaxing break. We travelled as a family of 4 plus our dog and my father in law and there was plenty of space for us to spend time together without feeling we were in each others' pockets, thanks to the bedroom set up and layout of the house - there are plenty of places to sit and relax both in and outside. The kids loved the garden and waterfall and the DVD and game collection (we had a lazy rainy day!) and our dog Herbie loved the fields! The Spar in the village is perfect for stocking up - and the essential trips to the milkshake machine for the kids! So much to do nearby - the local beach at Nefyn is lovely and child/dog friendly, plus the walk along the coast to the Ty Coch from Morfa Nefyn is a must! Slightly further afield - Beaumaris on Angelsey for a boat trip to Puffin Island, Caernafon and Glynllifon - all lovely. Yes, the lane to the cottage is a little narrow/steep, but that is fairly standard in more rural areas and we had no trouble with our MPV. We had a few, very minor issues on check in and with a fuse - both dealt with very promptly by the hosts. Thank you Chris and Jen - we hope to return one day!

Extraordinary location
A wonderful place for to sit and rest or taking activities in the surroundings. A beautiful garden with hidden places and visited by birds, rabbits and squirrels each morning. No matter the weather, you will always find the beauty in it. Only issue: the stay was too short.

Just lovely
A fantastic house in a fantastic area. We loved it. Beautiful views and sunsets over the water. Everything we could need in the house and more! Binoculars, puzzles, books, maps, beach toys etc. A short walk to the beach, where toilets and a great cafe/shop are available at the far end. Useful Spar and a Premier in Nefyn and a good pizza takeaway. The whole Llýn Peninsular is beautiful and worth exploring. Would definitely return.

What a view!!
What an amazing place perched upon a hill and a view to behold. The lane up to the cottage is a one car lane but we were in a a SUV and had no problems whatsoever and we never met another vehicle coming or going. Beautiful house with many different rooms,mind your head in a few places if you're over six foot as i am but again,no problems. We had a great time and weather was fairly kind which in turn gave us some amazing sunsets across the sea. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Lovely week in Wales
Cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay and was extremely comfortable. We were extremely lucky with the weather. As per the description the cottage is at the top of a very narrow lane so our cars stayed parked up for the week. Took about 15 minutes to walk to the beach and a little longer to the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend

Good for the soul
A wonderful cottage with a 5 star view from the patio area….which is really well kitted out with a corner sofa, bbq, and dining table AND is a real sun trap too. If you like stunning sunsets with an unspoiled sea view, this is the place for you. Also - only a 5/10min walk down to the beach with a cafe stop on the way / way back. We took our 2 dogs and they were not only safe to roam to 2 secure garden areas - they loved their daily beach runs too. The cottage has a great family kitchen with loads of space. We spent many evenings working through the various board games available. Lots of options for people to have time out for a quiet read (or iPad time!) too in one of the lounges or secrete gardens. Good options close by for eating / food shopping. The local shop is really well stocked with all the basics, plus great local produce too. All in all, a fantastic place for a family / friends holiday.

Lovely home
We had a lovely week at this property, the house was charming with a real homely feel, and the gardens were magical for the kids. The beach was within close distance, about 20 min walk through fields, and the local coastal path walks were beautiful. The views from the garden at sunset were stunning. We had a couple of little teething problems with some missing linen & towels on arrival but they were resolved swiftly by the cleaning company, who were new. Overall we’d definitely recommend this property and would return in the future.

Lovely cottage, great location, fabulous views
I booked the cottage for its fabulous sea and sunset views and we weren’t disappointed. Ideally located just a few minutes drive from Nefyn, and with lots of walks (including down to the beach) right from the door, we had a wonderful weeks holiday. The trip was for my husbands 40th birthday and the owners were really helpful before we arrived with recommendations for places to eat and visit. We loved our trip to this beautiful part of Wales and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Absolutely beautiful
Lovely cosy property in an absolutely stunning part of Wales, the views from the terrace were gorgeous. Easy to access beaches - we went to 6 different ones in our week here! - and other areas of interest. Lovely pubs and shops in the village too. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous location
This is a great base from which to explore the Llyn Peninsula. A very comfortable cottage with everything considered for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A fantastic location, just up the hill from Nefyn village and, as many previous guests have commented, this affords the best views of the glorious sunsets over the Irish Sea. We would highly recommend the cottage as a great venue to either relax or to explore all that the area had to offer.

Fabulous location
We had a wonderful week at the house, it’s close to the beaches and Nefyn but set back enough to be peaceful and private with amazing views of the sunset every night. The owners are very friendly and responsive to questions. The house had everything we needed and we look forward to returning!

Enjoyable
This property was ideal for our family holiday, only slight improvements I would suggest is a more comfortable sofa in the lounge and the shower is a little tired. Although that didn't stop us from us enjoying our stay and would recommend it to other people.

We had a fantastic time at this well maintained cosy cottage. The views and nearby walks are beautiful. This is a really super place to recharge the batteries! We would definitely return to this quiet part of North Wales.

A lovely house, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
From the moment we made our booking everything was great. Our hosts were super helpful, all information was spot on and the cottage itself couldn’t have been better for what we wanted. A true ‘home from home’ in fabulous North Wales. So relaxing to sit on the lovely patio and watch the glorious sunsets. Even when the weather wasn’t clear blue skies, to look at the sea and be relaxed by the views all around was a real treat. The area is gorgeous, everyone we met locally was really nice and we could have easily spent another week there exploring the delightful surroundings. So many places to walk, so many things to do and so many views to admire. Thank you for letting us spend time on the hill - we thoroughly recommend this accommodation and we look forward to returning!
