Premium location, right on the beach.
Spacious, clean, comfortable house. Every amenity in the house, kitchen was fully equipped. Only downside was the traffic noise from the road behind the house but that generally settled down by 11 pm, but started up again by 6 am. Just fine probably if you are not a light sleeper. Never needed the air conditioning as the breeze off the water kept the house cool even on the warmest days. The beach has some small rocks at the high tide line but alter that it is all sand, truly amazing.

Beautiful
The location was beautiful and right on the water. Close to everything however you do need a car to get around. House is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and the owner had everything you might need. Owner is very friendly and easy to talk to should you need anything. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this beautiful house to spend your vacation in.

Beautiful and peaceful
Everything you could possibly need is in this gem. They host has thought of everything you could possibly need. We spent almost every moment on the deck watching and listening to the ocean. The kitchen if fully equiped with high end appliances. Even though on vacation I enjoyed preparing meals in this chef's kitchen. We will definately go back in the future.

Ocean getaway
The house is newly renovated, clean and right on the beach. The hot tub and fireplace are great bonus features. This is not a stand alone rental. There is a second unit downstairs that accommodates families. There is no sound proofing between units. The days with no visitors downstairs were great - the days when the second unit was rented were noisy.

Absolutely stunning
My mom and I stayed here over Christmas and absolutely loved it. It was actually larger than we thought, we had loads of space to spread out. The view is absolutely stunning, you are quite literally on the ocean. We went for strolls along the beach each day. The hot tub was incredible, amazing view. It was an amazing place in winter, I imagine summer here would be even better. There is some traffic noise from the street but it didn't bother us. Would absolutely stay here again!

Five star beach house in Qualicum
This is a 5star experience without huge costs. The beach house is immaculate with a stunning ocean view, the jacuzzi divine and the owner is more than gracious! Low tide is a glorious long morning walk and high tide brings in water warmed all day by the sun. Easy walk in for children and easy access for those with medical issues. Did I mention the jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. I enjoyed this vacation in Qualicum Bay so much I booked for 2023 before the end of my allotted vacation time. Highly recommend the stay and getting to know the owner. A colourful and delightful individual!

Beautiful place to stay
We rented the main floor of the house. Very spacious, comfortable and very nicely renovated. The hot tub on the deck was the drawing feature - so relaxing! Bed was very comfortable, better than what we have at home! Beach right off the deck was incredible. Would love to stay again.

Heaven on earth!
This was the most amazing experience ever. The house is fully loaded and it has the best view of the ocean I have ever seen. You feel like you are so connected to nature. The house is amazing too! I highly recommend this place. Jim was helpful and awesome too.

The place was nice but the pictures were a little dated. The placed needed to be cleaned and dusted. The carpet weren't vacuumed. Step to the beach would be nice as it makes it hard to access the beach.

Perfect Spot for an Ocean Gateway
We loved our stay! The location, the accommodations and overall experience was top notch. The only negative was on our second to last day. We were having breakfast at the dining room table when we saw a man, who never introduced himself, by the hot tub outside. He began ranting about the condition of the hot tub. We went out to see what the problem was. He was ranting about the hot tub and we told him that we never had used the hot tub during our stay. He asked when we were checking out and we told him we were leaving the next day. He ranted some more, did some things around the hot tub and then left without saying anything else to us. We were quite upset by this incident. We were having such an amazing vacation and to be yelled at for something we did not even use by an unknown person was quite unsettling. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay .

Amazing Ocean Views/ Amazing holiday
Beautiful place. Amenities perfect for our family. Large rooms, large deck, high end kitchen, nice family dining area and relaxing great room for movie nights with family or visiting friends. Weather was great. Jim Hamm was a pleasure to deal with the entire time. The only negative thing was the highway noise but we stayed else where and it’s the same as the scenic route takes you along all these beautiful places. We stayed two weeks and hope to have another opportunity to stay here again.

Beach paradise
Fabulous waterfront home. Unbelievable sunrise and sunset and great walks along the beach. There is a suite below and to the side that was occupied by the owner but was not a problem. We have fond memories of our stay there!
